jarg1 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 The prices you listed don't seem to match up with those in the DCS E-Shop: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/
Chuck_Owl Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 You're gonna LOVE the Huey, mate. It's the best helo sim I've ever flown and the flight dynamics are really bang on. The Huey WILL try to kill you if you don't operate it properly.
snowsnipersnow_sniper Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I ve just bought the huey ...two days ago before that 49$ Great one. I love the sound mod and light grey panel.

SOLIDKREATE Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) The prices you listed don't seem to match up with those in the DCS E-Shop: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/ I copied and pasted these directly from the news letter -- You're gonna LOVE the Huey, mate. It's the best helo sim I've ever flown and the flight dynamics are really bang on. The Huey WILL try to kill you if you don't operate it properly. I just hope it is X-52 friendly, lol. 9./JG27golani79 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I´ve read in the DCS forums that there were a mistake regarding the prices - so best to check the shop.
SYN_Mike77 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) is the P51 a download or a hard copy? never mind just saw the answer. Edited September 4, 2014 by SYN_Mike77
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 I´ve read in the DCS forums that there were a mistake regarding the prices - so best to check the shop. Yep just saw that. It's also not 70% off for DCS:UH-1 either more like 50%.
Feathered_IV Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Do these prices work for the Steam version also, or just the homegrown one?
jarg1 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I checked Steam a couple of times and they showed full price still.
9./JG27golani79 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Do these prices work for the Steam version also, or just the homegrown one? Those deals are only available at the homegrown store.
Brano Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Hmm,very tempting list.Definitely I will go for Sabre (too lazy to order it till today ).Mi8.....I hasitate for long time.Would I fly it often or not? But cruising in good "vertolet" should be interesting change since I had my hands on old Mi24 simulator years ago.

I would suggest ka50 even if its a bit more complex its far more useful on the modern battlefield, and comparing learning curve to a10c blackshark is piece of cake.
sallee Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Thanks for the heads up! I went for Combined Arms, Huey and Dora.
SYN_Mike77 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 So, I'm thinking of buying the Mustang and downloaded DCS world only to get the can't open file message and the no program to open file message. Any hints on where I can get something to open this without weeding out a pile of unwanted crap?
9./JG27golani79 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 So, I'm thinking of buying the Mustang and downloaded DCS world only to get the can't open file message and the no program to open file message. Any hints on where I can get something to open this without weeding out a pile of unwanted crap? Have you downloaded all six files? There should be 5 .bin archives and 1 .exe file to start the installation. No need for any further tools.
Brano Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I would suggest ka50 even if its a bit more complex its far more useful on the modern battlefield, and comparing learning curve to a10c blackshark is piece of cake. No,no,no firing or killing people.I just want to fly Mi8 sightseeing/pretending doing some usefull job (cargo, mail, people transportation = alpine skiers to top of Elbrus)
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 The Ka-50 looks mean as hell. I sure can't wait for the Bf-109K-4 and that Spitfire Mk.IX and P-47D-28 to come out. I also saw they have AH-1Z planned and DCS:F-18C. I really wish they would make DCS:F-14D but I'm not holding my breath.
Chuck_Owl Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the heads up! I went for Combined Arms, Huey and Dora. A very good pick, sallee. Make sure you get on the Dogs of War WWII server if you're looking for "WWII-styled" online action for the Dora. Plenty of great chaps are flying there. Edited September 5, 2014 by 71st_AH_Chuck

Guess Ill pull the trigger on it
jarg1 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I noticed that DCS has further reduced some of the prices. I just picked up the FW-190, the Sabre, and Black Shark 2 at a nice discount.
TheBlackPenguin Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 $14.99 for the Sabre, it was sitting in my cart for a few days, so I am happy . I doubt it will get much lower than that.

MarcoRossolini Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Blackshark is serious fun, recommended.
