MGFF rounds modelled realistic and fisheye lens distortion.

Hi,

They are with patch 4.3 and fire the MGFF which explode without hitting anything. Is this right I wonder ?

Unlike Anti Aircraft shells which are set for a certain altitude or time, the explosive heads on the 20mm MGFF rounds exploded only upon impact or so I thought, however I see CoD has it right, they will in time explode on their own. That would dissapoint souvenir hunters as very few heads would fall to earth intact !

I saw in another 1c thread this:-

I believe you misunderstood, winnie.
The fuses were save until a certain time after firing the round,
So if there was something in the way in the first few yards of flight the round wouldn't explode.
The MG FF used the "Bodenzünder (Bd.Z.) 1511, 1512 and 1513.

Funktion: Centrifugal arming using steel balls that move outward. When air resistance slows down projectile spin, balls move back toward center
and cause a spring to force firing pin into detonator for self-destruct

I have learnt something  , they explode after so long and this is modelled. Now thats attention to detail. Well researched and done.

I also see in this video the tail is almost as big as the wings, this fish eye lens look is very odd as our eyes are not like that, also the fuselage looks banana bent as a result at times and spoils the look of the 109E  00:46 to 1:00 for example :o: . Is there a choice of lenses for external view ? I want human eye or 50mm lens not fisheye distorted.
