fergal69 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Fancy a cockpit? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1117888467/jet-fighter-cockpit-in-your-living-room?ref=nav_search I know it's a jet, but surely WW2 planes are a possibility. Edited September 2, 2014 by fergal69
fergal69 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) No comments Thought this might have generated a few, even if it was only regarding the FW190 cockpit shown on screen briefly Edited September 2, 2014 by fergal69
Elbows Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Kinda cool. And pretty darn cheap. Does give me ideas though since I have a buddy with a laser-cutting shop - perhaps an MDF model would be even more sturdy. A+++ for the effort and idea though.
Static Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Cool! Thanks for sharing. They need to get started on some WW2 pits also. I have never been fond of jet simulators for some reason. :
Dakpilot Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/10000-printable-cockpit/ maybe merge? Cheers Dakpilot
Sokol1 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Is "funny" how manufactures ignore the existence of the (small) WW II CFS market, a recent Saitek survey did not mention any simulator of the genre. This KS should have rendered one "warbirds" cockpit instead these outdated "SR-71" or "X-wing". The Fw 190 would be perfect, more ergonomic that some latter British Jet's. Anyway they promise one for a early supporter, as said in SimHQ. Sokol1 1
Static Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 WWII was the epoch of aviations finest days. Technology does mess up some things, arial combat.
