We've had an unfortunate chain of events that have affected the release and perception of our VERY EARLY technical support for VR. This implementation was described as "BASIC" support for the Vive device in our latest version 2.002 update literature. In fact, this is an extremely rudimentary support that was essentially an early internal test that really should not have been made public. Due to a lack of coordination between the Producers and the Development Team the Vive support was released without proper checks, testing and a public explanation as to it's current state. Chalk this up to too many Summer holidays at once, we're not perfect. We apologize for the impression that this was our proper and final support for the Vive. We will continue to work on our VR solutions and learn more about the technology and requirements in the coming weeks and months. We have no official timetable for "proper" support, but it's something we hope to accomplish for you. We will leave this rudimentary support in the sim as we know some users like to tinker even though it is not perfect or final. Please accept our apologies for any confusion.
