Will spend most of my flying time in the Bf109s and hopefully 110s but will surely take each of the flyables for a ride on a regular basis, even if its just offline in a quick mission.

I usually fly for the side that has the fewest players, so in this case it means I'll be flying for the VVS a lot!

All the aircraft available in any sim I have played bring something different and challenging to the table, so I don't limit  myself to just one type.

Probably both; pick up the coolest plane that I own, MP scenario allows and I fancy flying, whichever side provided that plane wins.

In IL2 is is usually re though occasionally I will fly blue but I have been fiddling around with 190s and 109s lately. In BoS.. I don't know.. but I le Las & Yaks so I imagna a lot of red to start.

I used to be a Luftwaffe player in 1946, but since ROF i'm really more into the RFC. With BoS i'm looking forward to fly Luftwaffe and VVS. I guess i'm more open minded these days.

this pool should be taken as a warning to the selling stand alone planes.

 

people will just sign in to the better team, and when people ask for balance there will be none, becouse people will jsut have bought some planes.

 

in il2 i have my personal preferences, but i will fly for the other team if its unbalanced, but if planes had been bought individually i would probably  only fly blue. 

 

an even worst case scenario would be people just buying the best planes, and having no Moscas, i15 109e's or whatever airborne. only the kings of the sky 109 vs LA.....

I`d think the dev team, seeing the experiences with the past game, may have it already figured out.

 

Me? I`d just charge more for the domination aircraft. So the crap planes could be cheaper. And the bombers, since they take more resources to make, they`d be much less cheap? I`m just guessing here.

 

It`s no fairy tale. In DF servers we may all take our favorite crates, but when the online play gets competitive, everynoe picks the plane that has more chance to bring him back home.

I voted for 'any' but have generally flown the Russian aircraft in previous titles. I would fly Axis if the numbers in a game were seriously out of balance.

In my history with Il-2, I've always found the German planes to be the easier ones to fly, plus they have great armaments.  Interestingly enough, I see the same trend in Rise of Flight.  In ROF, Central Power crates are arguably easier to fly (or at least more forgiving) than their counterpart.

 

EDIT: Having said that, I fly both just for the experience, but I wouldn't fight an I-16 in a FW190...just poor form.

I'll fly for the side that has gound objectives. This probably means I'll shell out for mudmovers rather than fighters. The Lavochkins and 190s never really interested me.

I'm a huge fan of Mustangs and Hurricanes, early 109s have their appeal too. That said when it comes to multiplayer I try to fly for the side that has fewer pilots or whichever offers the one of the more underdog planes I feel like flying. Crap-plane challenges make for great fights.

1) Enter server

2) Find out who's underhanded

3) Choose who's underhanded and enjoy the now target rich environment

My squads rule..log in, pick the side with the lowest numbers and fly for them.

I'll go where needed for balance. When that's achieved I'll fly the blue 109's like I do in CloD and il2-1946. I normally fly the planes from the side I'm on.

I hate it when it's possible for blue to show up in Spits or vice versa on a dogfight server. Stick with a side and fly it's equipment.(pet pieve, sorry off topic))

I'll fly both.  The 109G and whatever Russian plane I like.

I anticipate using the Yak 1 and staying on the VVS side. I will stick with the Yak 1 and move on to a P-39, when and if a P-39 is made available. I understand that the P-39 may not have participated at Stalingrad, so I may have to wait for a Kuban add-on, or what not. I believe that the determining factors in most of my multiplayer air battles will be  altitude, speed, and surprise, not relative plane performance, not whether I am in a Yak or a BF 109. So long as I use the tactics of Erich Hartmann,  Alexander Pokryshkin, and Nikolai Sutyagin, I will do fine, whichever side I am on. A lot of multiplayer guys seem to be  BF 109's lovers and FW 190's cultists, so I might as well establish myself as a Red Star fanboi, right from the start, if just to help balance multiplayer teams.   I will be a Yak 1 VVS specialist and ride things out, until I can get my hands on a plane with a 37 mm cannon.

As i am in a Virtual Luftwaffe unit i will only fly German aircraft, i will fly german aircraft offline to

get used to the new FM . I dont see the point in learning to fly VVS planes as i will never use them.

I wont even buy the VVS planes as they are released  as add ons .Not because im tight with money

but because i dont want to fly VVS planes, they dont interest me. Which is why i joined a LW unit in

the first place.

in IL2 onlinewars i flew as III/JG53_Frankyboy for blue or 8.RNZAF_Cobber for red, whatever side needed pilots.I can guess when BoS is in its erly stages online a lot of volunteers for the red side will be needed till all have grinded through the solocampaign to get the Yak :D
