LLv44_Damixu Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 For more co-ordinated and more immersive co-op multiplayer we could have (old IL2 HyperLobby kind of, but in the sim and done with 3D game world graphics) Mission Briefing Room to both sides where all on selected sides mission participants could join in and get on a squadron / team he or she wishes to join. A mission commander sketches the mission plan on the mission map on briefing room. The mission plan sketch would carry on to actual pilots' in-flight map. Each squadron leader could add their specific notes on the mission plan map. Actual vocal briefing could be done via TeamSpeak and/or Briefing Chat Box. During the briefing each pilot chooses an aircraft, it's loadout and skins. There is a mission start countdown clock indicating when the mission will commence and each pilots can enter the game world. Further development phase ideas: 1st phase - Mission Briefing Room could be same 3D space as our existing game menu hangar without any visible aircraft, no visible pilot avatars. A player still could move around in hangar freely 2nd phase - Visible, animated and controllable pilot avatars walking around hangar 3rd phase - Upon start of a mission pilot avatars could run out of open hangar doors and locate his/hers dedicated aircraft on the apron (parking area near debriefing hangar) and climbing on the plane (let say by pressing E) 4th phase - Briefing location could vary, for example open space near airfield, inside airplane blast dugout, etc.
