NN_RugbyGoth Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Since 1.105 I have this error : The instruction at 0x653d1e73 referenced memory at 0x00000720The memory could not be read. My system : I5 2500k first gen OC 4.4GHz Geforce 560OC (slightly) RAM8Go SSD250Go Samsung 850EVO (the game is on it) Win7 64 ultimate. BR
Grancesc Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 If this causes a crash when exiting the game disable the checkbox "seed when downloaded" in the settings tag of the main IL-2 window. That did remedy the malfunction in my case. I hope it does for you too. Refer also to the topic "Win10 - Crash when press exit game" in this chapter.
NN_RugbyGoth Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 This box is unchecked for a while and still is. I had il2.exe error some times before 1.105, I guess it's a new debug feature activated by the devs. So when there is a crash, there is some kind of dump. After some other crashes, I can say that this crash appears when I am in a game (online or not) and I go into the options (Esc) then come back to the game. Sometimes I have a graphic bug when I come back from this Esc menu. My guess is that there is something with this menu!
NN_RugbyGoth Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 GOT IT!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Zorkaiev, I had the idea to look at my GPU memory. I have a 560 with 1Go. When on the ground in summer stalingrad map, the memory used is +900Mo. I guess that when flying, moving around, messing with some settings, the memory becomes saturated and then the error "memory could not be read" because we are out of memory!Madison, how much ram does your video card has? Definitivly a lack of optimization, according to Zorkaiev tests, with 2Go you can't run with distance parameter set to x4. Fortunatly my new graphic card will have 4Go!
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Received this error message also when joining a server.
NN_RugbyGoth Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 Then use GPU-Z to monitor your RAM. I will do it during my next sessions to try to have some stats
VBF-12_Snake9 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I had the memory problem twice and I have a 4GB card.
NN_RugbyGoth Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Try the GPU-Z software and monitor your system. My guess is that D9D32bit cannot address all your 4Go (like win 32bits can only adress 3Go of RAM). Han said that using D9D 64bit would get rid of the skin loading time, for me it's the same cause, the skins are not in RAM.
6./ZG26_Gielow Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I have this problem only when I quit game back to Windows 10.
[DBS]Prody Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 i get this only when i record or watch a replay and try to fast-forward more than five minutes or so
13Nrv Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I ve just encounter those error , 15 mns ago , while escaping the game ...
HippyDruid Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I've been getting this a few times lately. It could be a coincidence but the main menu music fails to play sometimes. When this happens if I connect to the server it crashes almost every time. When the music plays fine and I try to connect it works ok.
NN_RugbyGoth Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 I think I understood the error message. I guess an instruction (part of il2.exe software) if referencing something in RAM at the address 0x00000004, but this address is not reachable. This address is very low, so I guess there was an out of bound when setting this address in the instruction. Therefore we can believe that all the RAM available for the program was taken and a malloc in the program got out of bounds of the virtual address set. Devs, please consider this error!
JG1_Stuka Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I have this problem only when I quit game back to Windows 10. Same here. Always.
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'm starting to see a pattern here with this Go Ram thing, what is Go Ram, and why is it affecting your systems the way it is?
Fazer_Beam Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Mastiff, I think they refer to GigaByte ram, maybe Go is the abbreviation in their language (in case it's not English). I found no trace of a GoRam software on the net. Fazer.
NN_RugbyGoth Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Go means Giga Octet, Octet = Byte in french
150GCT_Veltro Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 W10 here. Same error selecting online the Panzer III.
Menacing_Ferrets Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 +1 been seeing this error a lot lately and getting far more CTD's for clients on my server with said error, and I haven't added anything to the mission. Use to run very nicely. I've gotten this error on map screen, on taxi and in flight.
MadisonV44 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) Had again the same error message tonight. I can also reproduce it when I read some flight records (tracks available if needed). Windows 7 SP1 64 Bits, i7-3770 @ 3.90GHz, 32 Go Ram, GeForce GTX 680 Edited December 5, 2015 by MadisonV44
