Bf-109 E7 Skins

Just a question- and hope I don´t sound ignorant: Isn´t the blueish appearance of the camouflage on the main fuselage caused by the colours changing due to the old (analog) photograph?

If I look more carefully I wonder where all the green has gone on the plane´s wings (or isn´t that the grey-green pattern)?

The skin looks great as it is different, still my "two cents" ;)

--> I hope you'll find the answer here!

I'm not sure whether the circumstances of air and dirt (weathering)

the true colors to identify themselves.

Nice JG77 skin

Posted

:salute:

Actually a Bf 109 E-1 of 6.(J)/Tr.Gr. 186, a "sister unit" of II./JG 77, most probably "Yellow 13", flown by Ofw. Kurt "Kuddel" Ubben. Northern Germany, winter 1939-40.

The "witch on a broom" emblem was hand painted on the port side of every plane of this Staffel.

Hello !

As I can see the "Emil" is a great success among the skiners.

It is now my turn to introduce you my first skin for this bird.

Since many "eastern" skins had been realesed, I decided to make an "western" skin and not for a E7, but for a E3 of the begining ot he war (1940).

The plane is from the 6/J52 located at Speyer airfield (Germany) in April 1940.

Due to its comfortable location, this plane had certainly not suffer from the tough conditions of the battle and should had been kept by a team of skiller macanicians.

So its weathering has to be quite light but just enough to give an operationnal aspect .. kind of challenge that I like !

Hi SPEKTRE,

Any chance you could do Franz Von Werra's famous E4 scheme for me, I know I could probably do it myself but you are so good at these E7 repaints I would be honoured if you would do a skin for a skinner!!!! I just love your ZG1 Staffel pack truly excellent.

Thank you.

LMAO!!!! OMG I keep forgetting. I turned on the 777/1C layers? Oh well the LG2 109's have them. I'm just coding them all now. I'll release them tomorrow. Rule of thumb they drop 4 degress per second.

Ok Guy's,

Sorry for the delay.......had all the skins in a file and realised they were crap.

Transparency in the black areas, skin not lining up correctly and squares around the tyre hubs all looked shitty.

I have corrected all the skins and because of the delay I have added 2 more skins.

JG/53 with the red sash over the cowl and a skin flown by Oberleutnant Fritz Losigkeit. (Red nosecone and tail - not the same as the superb skin previously posted by Reflected).

Warning: these are all historical and show Swastika.

Hello Guys,

You may think that it is weird that a french guy as me could post about a new skin after what happend in Paris this week-end. For sure we are still terribly shocked, but we must not give up and show that we are still standing. And continuing to do what we are used to is part of the fight against the murderers.

My last skin is dedicated to the personnal plane of Erbo Graf von Kageneck, Staffelkapitän of the 9./JG27 in Russia in 1941 :

Beautiful skin Zargos, it's the same pilot as my skin above but obviously a lot later in 1941 as he only had 14 kills shown on my skin.

Mine and my wife's thoughts are with all of you in Paris and France at this difficult time and I am sure our thoughts are shared by all of us here across the pond in the U.K.
