I forgot to say Happy Labor Day holiday to those of us in the USA. To celebrate the unofficial end of summer and the beginning of fall here's a couple pics from current beta testing with some custom skins. All pics WIP. New maps and earlier campaign not ready yet, but getting there.

 

I'm patiently waiting for the P-40 just like everyone else.

No the P-40 and maps are not coming this week. The P-40 is not in beta yet. We are testing the maps and the new campaign for the earlier part of the battle.

Question about the campaign.

 

In the beginning of the current campaign the Axis forces is at the end of the Volga so its pretty early in the main battle and at that point it should be autumn, right? So my question is will the first chapter of current campaing be changed to autumn and will we see earlier chapters with battles raging on outside Stalingrad, before the Axis entered Stalingrad? 

 

Also will we see missions inside Stalingrad? Bombing areas with He-111 and supporting ground troops in the Stuka?

Jason, are you using sweetfx or only in game AA? I would like to have same sharp and clean image too.

That is all in game settings on ultra plus 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling in nVidia Inspector turned on to tramp down shimmers.I didn't have SweetFX in this build. I also run 2570x1600 resolution, When I do use SweetFX it is to sharpen textures a bit and I add some Vibrance to the colors. Doesn't take much.

Try these settings for NV inspector, and have a quick read of other tips in the thread
