Since the discussion topic has been cluttered by a few individual chasing their tails, it's hard to get a good picture of how good or bad these news are for the community. I hope this poll can shed some light on this, because I'm curious.

If you chose other, please let me know what option I missed, I might update the poll if I forgot an important one.

Placing a pre-order does mean to pay now for the product wich will be released in Q2. It doesn't mean to buy full access to the beta. Early access is the bonus for pre-ordering (beside some other bonuses).

Therefore it leaves me cold.

I spent me money for premium to support the game and the development.

I didnt spend my money to play the game in the earliest status i could get.

So am not bothered either.

Beta test and support is a good way for a flightsimulation.

Play the Sim in online war´s and offline Campaign we can wait to Q2 2014

Any gameplay is good gameplay!

I think you might have to wait until a few people are back from their short vacations to ge a clearer picture. ;)

Personally, I am a little disappointed, but I can understand why they have done it. I do feel that making at least one of the days a Saturday or Sunday would go some way to pleasing the majority of founders.

I don't get this poll - are you saying we will only be able to fly the early access on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursdays ???  What does this mean ?

Confused, and if true, incredibly disappointed.

Hey when Red Baron first came out we'd fly and go to work on 4 hours of sleep. But now we have the "how do you

feel about it" crowd.

Other: neutral feelings on it.

The idea of 3 days followed by fixes etc seems a good idea for beta testing though.

Yob, neutral would be option 3.

I could have included a non-founder option for guys like Sven, I guess.

Perfectly fine for me, understand the reasoning behind it, but also completely get the disappointment some people feel by the mid-week schedule.

Hoping the limited time frame wont last too long, though i would guess it will be this way for a few weeks at least.

I suppose you're right. The "leaves me cold" was a little confusing though....

Yeah, I thought I'd posted that before but obviously my tablet swallowed it up.

"It leaves me cold" in English would suggest a negative response, not a neutral one.

Due to I will not be able to have any access at all during the announced Tues-Thurs,  and the way it has been handled by some in the DD thread, I very much regret ever contributing to this by buying the Premium Edition very early on.

I chose disappointed as I don't know that I can say I am angry, but I am very disappointed  be these developments and things they have said...

Where is screaming of joy option?

The developers explained their decission, and I am fine with this 72hour acces.

From a personal point of view, well, one weekend day would have been nice. But I wouldn't like to work on weekend, how could I expect that the devs should do it for my enjoyment.

So yes, everything is allright and I'm fine with this decision. I'm sure they know what's best for the development process. After all we will benefit. I'm sure.

Doesn't matter to me I only preordered for the cool founder badge on the forum, I'm having way to much fun with a heavily modded install of Farming Simulator. :)

I don't have the time (nor probably the patience) to be fully involved in Alpha testing the game. I get the impression some here think early access is normal gameplay, well it's not. While I look forward to getting a glimpse behind the curtains to see where development stands, a few minutes every week or so will be enough for that. I have all faith this developer knows what he is doing. Not overpromising and limiting early access are clear indications for that. Gives me huge confidence for the finished game.

Although a little disappointed at first I do not really have the time to test the game properly.

if it means a quicker and better gold version then that can only be good news

Agreed

After seeing how WELL DONE ROF is, I paid early to help them out nothing more nothing less.

I too have to answer to the BOSS (SWMBO) who thinks gaming is a total waste of time, at least she goes to bed early so there is hope for me.

ANY early access works for me !!

That's exactly the problem. People have lives. Can't play games in the middle of the week.

Same. I see it as early opportunity to familiarise  myself with the game *before* I start playing it "seriously".

I did a similar (but simpler) poll over at SimHQ

H

I'd personally preorder it anyways.

- support the genre

- you get extra goods

- game is always more expensive later

TBH I don't fully understand two things...

- people whining over the top with this early access thing, I'm not really sure what do they expect to see... you get two - three aircraft and you'll probably be tired of such setup very fast anyways...

- devs with this most unusual decision

I guess we will soon see... thing is some ~ two weeks () away now.

I choose dissappointed, but I've been angry too.

I choose the premium preorder for the earlier access, nothing else.

Make no mistake I was under no illusion that the game would be anywhere near complete, but I was looking forward to being able to check out the progress made in my own time.

The 3 day schedule rules me out and pretty much means I wasted my money going for the premium access. Hence the initial anger. I cant do the Turesday - Thursday slot

What I don't understand is the limited access, I understand that want to get the data from us to help refine the game. However why can't they just leave a server up so we can still connect and look at what is there. The devs can get they data they want Tuesday to Thursday and then leave the/a server up for the rest of us to play around.

I'm still looking forward to the game, but this turn of events has tempered my enthuesiasm a little.

I suppose I could add if the pre order page said premium access in Autumn for $89, however it will be limited midweek access at first. Or $49 for standard access in Winter with full access and a little more content I would not have put down $89.

I suspect a lot of others wouldn't have either. I feel a little duped into paying up in the first place

I like to support the developers, but not blindly.

I have no problem with limited access. I can't say I'm excited so I vote for neutral. I would be excited if there would be seven days per week access. But still the biggest part of my motivation of pre-ordering was support to the team. So no problem from my point of view.

On the other hand I understand why some people can be angry about. There was no sign of something like limited access in pre-order description. If developers intended such a limit (and I don't believe this decision was made last week) it should been stated since the first day. Otherwise it smells a bit. Because they had to know there will be less people buying Premium if they would confess to limited access.

I knew I was paying for early access and some extra planes. I don't feel cheated at all since I basically bought the game and two planes. This is 'Early' Alpha access. I'm sure the real alpha will be open in the winter for all days followed by closed invitation only Beta. They are just taking one step at a time. It is easy for all of us to wrapped around the axle if we don't get something we perceive we are getting. Full access everyday access will be granted at some point. Until then I hope to see some of you in the air. They most likely want to have some work days to work on any server issues before release because multi-player will make or break this game.

OMFG! I knew it would happen someday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I agree with Spektre totally. See bro miracles DO happen. Nice skins BTW :)

The simple fact is they were not upfront about the limited access from the start which is poor form! I know that i will at the most be able to try/test the game only 1 day a fortnight at the most. I would have kept my money in my pocket, and bought it after the full release if we had been informed, but then i bet a lot of people would have done the same which would not have been to the devs benefit. No wonder they were so deceptive.
