99.99

Hi Everybody!

Even though we love our Bf 109 E-7 cabin and screenshots with summer scenery, new rivers and old trees, we just could not give this dev blog number 100. It's just not cool enough for an anniversary of our diary. Besides we have some really good news for you, coming up next week.

Without a further adieu I name thee Dev Blog #99.99!

And this blog presents you the model of cockpit in Bf 109 E-7 (there won't be a mod with transparent wing coating).

Also our map artist have generously shared us screenshots with a test version of new river technology that is being developed for the summer Stalingrad. The territories are huge, the rivers are many, the trees are incalculable - unlike the PC's traditionally low performance limits. That makes the job of recreating natural beauty on vast virtual territories a pretty hard one.

And yes, a few hours ago the big sale for all editions and additional paid content for Battle of Stalingrad started. Those 50% discounts are really rare, and it's unlikely that they may happen again before the BOM Early access begins. You can buy BOS for half-price in our official store and on the game's page on Steam.

Nice work!

Is it my imagination or do those cockpits look even better than the ones in BoS?

OK, fine, it's amazing. Good work as usual. Keep it up and thanks.

Slightly OT but the pic of the E7 where the foreground is in focus and the background is blurry, like it was taken with a traditional SLR, is pretty cool too.

Excellent looking! Feel like there could do with a further draw distance on the trees for those summer map shots, but otherwise fantastic.

DD100 had to be a goodie - clever gameplay there Zak, lol.

Good looking progress; nice to hear that the boys are working on new graphics tech.

Until next week. ~

Wonderful. In the mean time waiting will be as exciting as watching the Antiques roadshow. Uggh, just a little more.

A question about these Emil cockpit screenshots :

did real E-serie Bf 109s actually had this yellow fuel pipe on starboard side of the cockpit ??

Posted

Very nice, roll on the summer.

This is so beautiful. Looking forward to whatever you devs will give us.

Uhoh... there was a typo in the e-mail that said that BOM was half price... :) Guess not. Still worth it though.

Looks very nice. Great detail work on that E-7 pit.

The E7 was the first version to carry a drop tank.

(That yellow line is the transfer line for the drop tank and has a glass viewing section so the pilot can see when the fuel flow stops when the tank is empty.)

Thanks for the update.. I was not expecting one today.

I don't think BoM is on sale.. It is too soon for that.

That's impressive.

BOS is on sale, not BOM.

I apologise for the noobish question, but,

What is the difference with the 109's in BoM to the ones we already have in BoS?

I really only fly Russian so haven't a clue about the German side of things.

Any reply's are appreciated,

Mick. :)

Very nice as usual.

However I think the P-40 needs stars on it's tail too. I've never seen one with just 4 stars without winter paint, I think they had 6.
