Jaws2002 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) Romanian ju88. The only surviving ww2 aircraft used by the Romanian air force. More pictures and details here: http://www.bredow-web.de/US_Air_Force/Zweiter_Weltkrieg/Junkers_JU_88/junkers_ju_88.html This Ju-88D-1 was used to defect by Nicolae Teodor on 27 July 1943 (or 22 July, I do not remember correctly). He asked for permission to test a Ju-88D-1, which had just been repaired, but after he took off he immediately headed south from Mariupol. He crossed the Black Sea and reached the Turkish coast near Cape Bafia. After 3 hours he was at Cape Anamur. He then flew about an hour over water, when he spotted land. It was intercepted by RAF fighters and escorted to Limassol. After it landed it had fuel only for another 10 minutes in its tanks. Edited June 8, 2015 by Jaws2002 1
xvii-Dietrich Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 My suggestion would be to include at least one set of Finnish markings. That would be nice. Ref1: http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/316/pics/78_3.jpg Ref2: http://20thcenturybattles.com/2014/01/11/finnish-air-force-aircraft-types-1939-1945/ Also, having the ability to change the tail number / fuselage numbers would be very good for flying multiplayer together, so we can identify each other.
SOLIDKREATE Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) Zak I have most of these emblems made already if you want them? Just PM and I will send over the native Illustrator files. In fact I have 144 emblems ready to go. While off topic I will let this post stand as it is helpful to the overall spirit of this thread. Edited August 19, 2015 by Bearcat
