Dakpilot Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Mission4today now has a dedicated BoS download section for campaigns, missions and skins, http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads4 I am sure many are familiar with M4T from old Il-2 days as one of the first stops for downloadable content, I think it is great that the site is now catering for the next iteration of IL-2. having all the downloads in one safe easy to use place is a great benefit to showcase BoS/BoM content, the benefit of simple reliable and malware free downloads is also rather handy rather than trying to navigate foreign language download sites which try to trick you with extraneous content I would urge all skin artists and mission makers to sign up at M4T and make full use of this generous offer, perhaps non English speaking users could promote this idea on their forums as well http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Home Cheers Dakpilot 3

Dakpilot Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 Nice to see Vetteran66 got things uploaded after the Easter break, and to see the first skin up on there Cheers Dakpilot
heinkill Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Yes, I asked them to do that, though I'm sure I wasn't the only one and am thankful they listened. It is the best site in my opinion for mission builders to place their stuff. I've used a lot of other sites over the years but nothing drives downloads like M4T! H PS if you have trouble uploading, remember there is a rather tight total file size limit. I think by memory it is 120MB or something. So if your file is larger, you need to split it into several parts. Also, it doesn't take all file types (.exe files for example can't be uploaded) so check that limitation too. Urra Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 ok will add my Missions ohh: "There is a maximum Upload Size of 120MB" Downloaded 390mb package here...
Veteran66 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) You must write to the M4T Team for upload the file what is bigger than 120mb Edited April 7, 2015 by Veteran66
FlatSpinMan Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 It's been a great site for hosting so many important things to the IL2 sim community - paintschemes, campaigns in particular. I don't go there so much anymore as I just don7t have much time for simming let alone making missions, but I always found it an excellent community resource.
Dakpilot Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) If you can read simple instructions, copy paste or point an installer to a game directory you are good to go Also check here for new missions coming all the time http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/14893-missions-sharing-corner/ Also would be a good idea to sticky some clear and simple instruction for easy install (steam and normal version) at top of page for those with less computer experience, also probably beyond the scope of this thread but would be great to have good/playtested missions submitted to Devs for inclusion in future patches thus simplifying procedures Cheers Dakpilot Edited April 19, 2015 by Dakpilot
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Hi All. I have just downloaded from Mission4today " IL-2 BoS Yak 1 Normandie Nieman 5 ", is this a SP mission, because i'v placed it in - Pro files x86/1C game studio/IL-2 Sturmovik BoS. It's sitting there; but that's all. If it's meant to be a mission and the install was successful, should it be shown in the BoS in-game mission list along with all the others ? Cheers.
Sokol1 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 You need place the addon (downloaded) missions in the folder: ...\IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad\data\Missions\ In this folder don't mater if put the mission files in the root or create a new folder and rename with mission name, some people organizes then be side or be plane. These new missions will be available in the button MISSION in game main interface, logged online or in offline mode.
