Please Fix The Microstuttering

Its really getting onn my nerves.

All my squadmates have it also. Little annoying stutters all the time. No matter the server.

Devs said they will check these. Im sure new patch screw something with online smooth gameplay. Lest hope they will find qucikly solution

I am in the same boat ive tried all the advise given , new drivers , windows mode , seed stop , nvidia control panel , there are still there , very frustrating even  trackir freezes for split second then back to normal ... :mellow:

 

what bugs me is some people say they have no problems . :huh:

I have them too. And it's offline as well. I even tried lowering the graphics settings and it was still stuttering slightly.

The same here.

 

Strange thing is my FPS are OK - I experience those microstutters also at 60 FPS - mainly when I change the direction I am looking at (TIR).

No sli/crossfire...

 

Also it seems to me it's getting worse when there are more objects to show/draw.

I made a mission (in FMB) where there are some 10 planes parked at my homefield.

The stuttering during take-off (when looking around) and when flying over my AF is much worse than in QMB 4 vs 4 in the air.

Perhaps something with the loading of skins... try the same mission with the default original skin. They perhaps changed the distance in which the skin are loaded. I remember having such micro stuttering with skins that weren't the original default one.

BTW i don't experience any stuttering. Try perhaps defrag your DD?

One card. My mates with different systems ( I5 or i7, Ati, Nvidia) all got the same issue.  Microstutters with online playing. Even at 60 FPS.

I saw on the Syndicate forum someone said that the recent patch had defaulted the multiplayer settings back to the default 1MB down 1MB up traffic limits.

 

Could that be the issue?

I never changed those values, what are the recommended ones Emil?

I guess it depends on your internet connection I maxed them all out because I have fast broadband. I'm not sure 1MB up and down is enough for a server like Syndicate or DED but I'm not sure.

 

Just do a speed test and see how fast your connection is, most people should be able to max out the down speed, and probably increase the upspeed a fair bit.

Nope.  Patch not reset it for me. Exacly the same like before 4/512.

for nvidia user: open nvidia inspector end set at 2 in option maximum pre-rendered frame.

open cfg startup end set 58 in fps_limit for 60hz monitor, set 118 for 120hz monitor, save end test now

Its nothing to do with our hardware or set ups as before the patch all was fine , good fps and good smooth game play online i dont do single player  , even with custom skins i had no issues until the new patch , yesterday 1v1 online was ok still had stutters after all the updates i had done , but 3v1 was awful .

However the fps stayed at 30+ even looking around while in combat gave bad pauses also ,  it became quite unplayable .

 

I disconnected and went into cliffs and its a smooth as silk .

 

Before BOS was way smooth with good fps 60+  and no micro stuttering even in combat . I am sure there will be a fix . A lot of people were complaining about the stutters online the day of the patch .

I don't have a problem with the game at all.

 

No Issues with micro-stuttering 

No issues with Track IR

 

16 planes in the air with quick mission, all aces

All ground objects turned on 

Game graphics set at ULTRA

Screen resolution   1680x1050

FPS at 60

There's another .exe in there called Restarter. I've been using that and really haven't had many issues but I also turn as much off in background apps as I can. What's the difference in them?

that probably speaks for itself. 

 

It's like the game can't handle all the textures and it keeps trying to catch up to itself.  This was a problem way back in Alpha with lower end cards and they just kicked it under the rug.  Well, Well.  It's come back to bite them in the ass now.

I ahve the stutters as well and my system should run it with only one eye open at 100 fps.

Mustr be something the devs messed up in the last patch. I am certain its a matter of time until a hotfix arrives.

ATTENTION to everyone who have microstutters in 1.009 and have had no stutters in 1.008

 

Please note following circumstances (please be accurate and concise in your answers!):

 

1. Are these microstutters in Multiplayer only? Or in Campaign too? Please check.

2. Are these microstutters presented on populated servers only? Or you may note them on emply server too? Please check.

3. Are these microstutters differs from following video, or you have the same?

1. also in SP when there is a "more populated" environment. For example QMB 8 vs 8 or a SP mission with 10+ parked (activated/linked entity) planes... 

2. not so noticable on empty server for me

3. the same as shown in the video

yes!!!  i have the same like in the video. more on line and allso when much activity offline.

tryed lot of stuff in the settings.

i have a i7 4.0 ghz and a geforce 970 gtx and ssd  /16 ram.

so it 's the same on new one's and new drivers 2 .

and not all of us have this probl. crazy

Just tested. On the blank -DED- server are microstutters much less.

The Campaign also less, much better.

i5 4670k 4ghz + 8gb + GTX 660 (oc) whit 347.52 nvidia driver, on 1680*1050

 

my personal settings whit nvidia inspector:

noticed improvements with maximum pre-rendered frames set on 2 end 58 fps limit, tested yesterday on syndicate server end on -DED-, no strutter

Yes, that sort of microstrutter like in the video. Multiplayer, quick mission, heavy strutter in the campaign. 35- 45 fps max when playing campaign. Especially when +2 or more planes in sight or truck convoy and city buildings. Rise of Flight runs smooth in every situation with better graphigs settings! 

 

i5 2500k, gtx770, 8 gb ram. Balanced or High settings (depends online/singleplayer)+ sweetFx 2.0

Wait so most of you guys that have micro stutters are using none applicable setting that are not meant for the game to run with, and your complaining that its the game, causing it?

 

so do not run the setting that were not meant to be run with, i.e NVidia inspector: and or Sweet FX, any 3rd party tool that is not the dev's, problem..
