Hello People,

 

I Have a reasonable setup; FX8350, GTX 770, 8GB (fast) Ram, SSD .........

 

I can get really good FPS 30-40(high/ultra) on SP, but online is a different story, even at low settings!!!

 

The performance is generally good but If there is more than say 10 planes in a 1-2 km area the game becomes a complete unplayable thing(especially if there are explosion graphics etc).

 

I Know Im not alone for a fact, but how many really get this(Is it a hardware thing like, its good for intel or not amd ...)? Remember only when a lot of planes are in a small space (LOL also dont get me started on the mini map FPS drop, but another time).

 

Im startiting to get insecure and think its my processor or the internet connection but not sure as all other games work fine. 

 

I think possibly this game needs some real roots fixes(forget unlocks, FMB.....) the NET CODE needs sorting or else all the previous  is irreverent

Others have the same problem.

 

Lowering graphics settings doesn't make much of a difference on my end.

AMD and BOS don't play well, at least with the graphics cards.  I bet you it's the same with cpu.  Just ordered 970 from new egg.  Byby AMD.

ULTRA, 2560x1600, 40-60+FPS offline and online both, only mild drop with lots of planes/explosions (down to 30-40FPS)

you think its your processor, and say the net code needs to be fixed?

That makes barely sense to me.

 

If you are not alone for a fact then tell us other people and their setup.

if you say you got facts, give us the facts. the names, numbers...

 

Then you do not describe what happens besides "unplayable". That tells me NOTHING of what you experience.

warping?

Rubberbanding?

screen tearing?

FPS loss over a ten second period?

...?

 

And then i do not understand the Goal of this thread.

But he said Don't move to the forum this topic belongs in! Can't you read Yakdriver? Geez. It's not like the thousands of different configurations of systems out there could be the problem as to why some have problems and others don't. Drivers out of date, firmware out of date, improper system settings (how many times I've seen PCs with RAM running at slow speeds because XMP wasn't set), windows not up-to-date, DirectX not updated in months to years, improper configuration settings, and etc.

 

But it's the software's fault. Obviously.

i mean, if i can help or something?
all i have is
"i have THIS BIG BUNCH OF MACHINERY" and i am encountering "problems" when playing online.
But maybe he is running a 32Bit windows XP, SP1?

on a 56k modem?

 

I mean, i am all for help with whatever little knowledge i have but this thread started out really difficult, if the scope is to improve "performance" online.

I guess it depends where you are.

 

Playing from Canada with a 1.5.MB/sec line

upload/download with alot of Russian and European

based pilots does affect my gameplay a lot.

 

1.5MB/sec line is not slow by any means.

 

No issues of lagging in single player offline

playing.

 

If you are lagging offline then ask questions

on you're computer settings.

 

I have no trouble in any other game..

Had no problems on Ultra at all.
