Is there a way to reset the default view in the cockpit?

You've to delete file \data\LuaScripts\snapviews\plane_name.svc

For example, if you want to reset the default view in the Bf 109 F-4 cockpit then you've to delete file bf109f4.svc

Good to know.

I presume it works the same way in RoF.

We have another solution.

On parking, inside our cockpit, without Trackir or Freetrack connected,

Using "Insert/del/end/up/pag dow/up" keys, you can config your cockpit view for one aircraft, and F10 to save when you finished.

This save this cockpit view for only this aircraft. You need to repeat in the others if you need

(sry for my bad English ;)

Sometimes you mess your cockpit view to such a degree, it's better to start from a scratch (default one) again.

Happened to me quite a few times in RoF.

I did not know this was for each individual aircraft. That is good to know.

BlackSix,

Is the snap view saved by the player stored in their online profile? I have reinstalled the game since setting one and it seems to have kept my setting even though I deleted all the game files.

Thanks

Is this Steam version of the game? Steam does not delete all files, your setting may remain...

I have a non-Steam version and it works for me - tried it on the two Messers (backing my adjusted ones first).

does this work for gunner postition as well?

I messed around the grunner position in the IL2, moving the "camera" using the HOME/END/DELET etc butttons but can't get back to original position any more.. the view is "stuck" from a poistion almost outside the gunner's pit
