SharpeXB Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Is there a way to reset the default view in the cockpit? 1
1CGS BlackSix Posted January 14, 2015 1CGS Posted January 14, 2015 You've to delete file \data\LuaScripts\snapviews\plane_name.svc For example, if you want to reset the default view in the Bf 109 F-4 cockpit then you've to delete file bf109f4.svc 1 3
ST_ami7b5 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Thanks! +1 Good to know. I presume it works the same way in RoF. Edited January 14, 2015 by ST_ami7b5
Ala13_Kike Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 We have another solution. On parking, inside our cockpit, without Trackir or Freetrack connected, Using "Insert/del/end/up/pag dow/up" keys, you can config your cockpit view for one aircraft, and F10 to save when you finished. This save this cockpit view for only this aircraft. You need to repeat in the others if you need (sry for my bad English ) 1

Happened to me quite a few times in RoF. 2
Bearcat Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I did not know this was for each individual aircraft. That is good to know.

Steam does not delete all files, your setting may remain...
ST_ami7b5 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I have a non-Steam version and it works for me - tried it on the two Messers (backing my adjusted ones first).
SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 does this work for gunner postition as well? I messed around the grunner position in the IL2, moving the "camera" using the HOME/END/DELET etc butttons but can't get back to original position any more.. the view is "stuck" from a poistion almost outside the gunner's pit
