89- Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Replace input.dll in IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game with this one https://app.box.com/s/y02r2699um8of4u7ju87 or your old 1.003 version one. Works perfect! Thanks to Q10Tims for the solution!

1CGS Han Posted November 13, 2014 1CGS Posted November 13, 2014 Hello everyone, This may be a good temporary solution, but it's not good while it may kill some new commands in game. Be aware.
Ala13_Kike Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Thx for this info Han, but Do you know in what commands or as can affect this ""solution""? Thx in advance for this advice

J2_Trupobaw Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) Hello everyone, This may be a good temporary solution, but it's not good while it may kill some new commands in game. Be aware. Would it be practical to implement both old and new version of headtrack support while keeping new commands, perhaps switched in-game with radio box like this one: (.) Identify as Battle of Stalingrad for TrackIR support (default) ( ) Identify as Rise of Flight for TrackIR support (legacy functionality for older devices, no longer supported, game restart required). CIA_Matabo Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Good find! But i liked opentrack better once i tried it. I hope thise helps some people out there. S! I tried using opentrack, but couldn't figure out how to get full 90 degrees of pitch movement and could not figure out how to smooth the movement. Any advice would be welcomed
Emgy Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 ^In the "Game protocol" settings window, select interface "Enable both" or "Use TrackIR, hide FreeTrack" Then check the EZCA checkbox.
CIA_Matabo Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 ^In the "Game protocol" settings window, select interface "Enable both" or "Use TrackIR, hide FreeTrack" Then check the EZCA checkbox. Not sure if this is advice for opentrack, but I don't have a choice of 'Enable both' or 'Use TrackIR, hide Free Track' and I don't see a EZCA checkbox.

Rivet Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 No dll swapping required chaps.Ok, if like me you're having problems getting Open Track to work as smoothly as Freetrack, or you simply prefer Freetrack because you're used to it, this get's it working complete with your existing profile.1) Start open track2) launch game. The game title will appear under the camera name in the open track interface3) Close Open Track4) Open & start Freetrack5) Play the game with Freetrack enabled.N.B. You might need to invert your pitch axis in Freetrack using this method. Everything else is fine. The beauty is that no game files are replaced or altered in any way.Cheers all. Hope that helps.

I saw this really late, sorry. Yes that's for opentrack, there is a roll-down menu on the main UI page called "Game Protocol". Right over the "Start" button, under "Auxiliary Tracker" and left of "Filter" and "Keys". It needs to be set to Freetrack in that menu. Under the menu is a "Settings" button where you will find those choices. Edited November 19, 2014 by Calvamos
