Update folder

Hello fliers, I understand that I should delete my update folder before I download the latest update. Is that correct? Is there anything else that I should do?

people having crashes upon launchin have been recommended to, to delete the stuff inside that folder.

Not if you're not having any problems.

Just wait until the update is posted as ready and start the game, It will update automatically

 

if you delete the update folder and start the game before the latest update is ready it will download the previous patch....then the new one

 

A little strange behaviour with log in usually means the patch is being uploaded, check latest dev forum to see when available

Hmm, thought commands and other updates were coming this week... strange. Guess it makes sense they don't want big issues over the weekend, or perhaps they are just not ready yet.

In its current state the game has become nearly unplayable. I get ctd's in the campaign so I can't grind for unlocks and with the mp servers locked at 32 I can never get into my squads server at the times I can play. Maybe it's time to just leave it alone for a while and see if change makes it playable again.
