Wow - have never started the game yet and wanted to read up first -  Wow - what a lifesaver ( after some searching )

I Came on here looking to figure out where IL2 hid their manual to download  - what I gather so far is "good luck with that"   I'm glad  lot of you have put so much effort to help those of us with less hours of Sim Time ( in gerenral )
Now to print these reference cards out.

Thanks Again!

Hi Woodsglen, the best thing to do for now may be to view this forum as a big manual. Some one will either answer your question or direct you to source where the answer can be found.

So I screenshotted these to my iPod touch and now I can pull them up as photos while flying, works great!

Will there ever be He-111 and Fw-190 ones made? I think that's the only 2 planes we are missing right?

Thanks guys, I have barely been around the forum lately to respond, but I always appreciate the appreciative comments!

Chuck's guides seem to back on this forum.  I think some of his data comes from my cards, but I have not checked to see if his data conflicts with these cards anywhere - there are probably differences in places.  Consider both my cards and chuck's guides to be filled with good-faith but fallible information.  For instance, I know some of the control animations have been reversed since I made these versions.

It is still my intention to finish the series with cards for the Heinkel and Focke-Wulf, but I have not been playing the game lately.  I will make them eventually, and hope to make cards for the new game as well.  It just has to wait until the enxt time I become obsessed with IL-2, which has been happening regularly for a decade now.  Be patient, but they will be made eventually.  Be sure ;)

It would be most rude not to take a few seconds to say a big thank you for these excellent resources. I have only just bought BoS a few days ago, this title being the latest addition to my existing library of flight sims. I have to say I feel so lucky to have discovered these pictorial aid-memoires - they have been beautifully designed and will be so helpful. Actually, I intend to make a generic BoS profile using Helios and can see your cockpit images popping up on my touchscreen at the flick of a switch....nice!

Just thought that I would add some more Cockpit AT-A-Glance Reference Cards that I made for the FW 190 A-3 and the HE-111 H6.  They are nowhere near the same quality but they work for me and figured I'd share them for anyone interested.  Most of the information was taken from Chuck's Aircraft Guide and Requims Youtube aircraft familiarization videos.  Some of the infomation maybe wrong or incomplete, but I am new to flight sims and still learning.  Feel free to edit/share these.

Just a clarification: in german planes the manifold pressure is expressed in ATA not in ATM.

ATA is "absolute technical atmosphere " instead ATM is "standard atmospehere".

1 ata =  0,9678411 atm

In your guide you wrote atm on the Bf-109 F4 , G2 and on the Ju-87

Hi Simmox,

109 only has cockpit lights.

The green lights are just fluorescent color on the gauges, which can only be seen if its getting dark outside (dusk, night).

Just start a quick-mission at midnight and you will see all the gauges shining green.

Thanks for your hard work on Cockpit At-A-Glance. I came across this while looking for BF110 engine gauges and found it informative.

Hey nice work, I did notice that the Emergency power in the FW109 is wrong, going by the games stats it's actually 3 minutes not 7-8 minutes.
