Quick Q - how to save a career mission to replay again?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hi All, how can I save an enjoyable career mission after completion so I can replay it again as a single mission?

Presumably I have to rename files in missions folder?

Thanks in advance.

Last time I checked you need to use the Mission Editor to open file under 1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\Missions\ _gen.Mission and under mission properties change the name and mission type to single. Save it and it will show up under your missions list.:salute:

Please be aware that you need to copy it before you start the next mission and also before you start a new quick mission or it will be overwritten.

I'm assuming this would also work for a mission generated by the QMB?

( I'm trying to set up a QMB with US or Brit pilot in P-40 etc.)

Didn't test it but I think this should work.
