Avimimus 625
T-60 or T-70... people had to fight in them, so I figure I should give it a go. I also can't help but to agree with Yogiflight... the StuG is numerically and tactically really important - it should be there.
Finkeren 6032
A StuG III would be the most obvious choice for the current setting. My personal favorite AFV the Su-76 also fits well, but would arguably be a whole lot less useful in our pure tank vs. tank environment than it was IRL. Moving into 1944, we'd obviously need the IS-2 and T-34/85 as well as a Panther A and maybe a Königstiger or Jagdpanther. As common as the Soviet light tanks were, I think they would be used so little, that they are a quite a bit further down my list. Light tanks would be whole lot more fun in a 1941 scenario, where we could have BTs and T-26s tangliing with Panzer IIs and 38(t)s.

602EAF_Puff 94
All of the above tanks in the vote and all those mentioned...really hope the devs push towards later eastern front battles before looking west. ( only due to having less tanks to develop than would do on the western front )

[DBS]smee_ger_ac 5
I would vote for the most common tanks of the time. Like the STUG, Marder, Jagdpanzer and Sherman variants, M18, M24 and some British vehicles like the Crusader, Valentine, Cromwell. The Tiger II and Jagdpanther, IS-2 are nice, but there weren't enough of them build and are late war tanks so it don't make sense to put them in the game because to keep it realistic we could only have one or two of them in the MP matches also most of the server matches wouldn't use them only in the last match. A tank based AAA like the Wirbelwind, Ostwind, Crusader Mk. III, M16 and ZSU-37 would be nice for multiplayer matches to protect the tanks. It would also be cool to have some troop transporters, so we could reinforce our bases like with the JU-52. A player leads 4-5 troop transporters. Some armored recovery vehicles would also be cool to rescue damged or capture and repair enemy tanks for the next round (Beutepanzer). Tank AI needs to be improved many tanks stay in the open and not hull down behind a hill or object next to them.
Lofte 202
Look at sitution in general. Let's suppose devs will not do TC 2. But let's imagine they could do only 1 collector tank more (I don't believe in that, but let's just assume it) Which one is highly needed for maps we already have? I think it's an allied tank, which we could play on BOBP and future Normandy map. My choice is Sherman Firefly. PS - list is too short

If it must be Allied I would say Churchill, just to mix thing up and have something that useful on both fronts.
addi 4
Would be nice if the Panther G, many changes compared to the D version, would also appear.
[DBS]smee_ger_ac 5
We need a iconic STUG, its variants and some early USSR light tanks. Than more variants of the existing models Pz. III G or H, Pz. IV E or F, KV-2, T-34 variants, the whole lot of M4 variants like the Firefly, because it should be quite easy to add new variants instead of building complete new tanks. The IS-2, Tiger II, Jagdpanther and Pershing can be collector tanks. In many MP Campaigns we play at different time periods so it would be nice if we had the corresponding major tank variants of that time. And yes I would pay again 80€ for a pack of 8-10 mid 1941 to end 1942 vehicles.

The one, who calls himself Koenigstiger selects the Jagdpanther 6 hours ago, Finkeren said: As common as the Soviet light tanks were, I think they would be used so little, that they are a quite a bit further down my list. I agree with that. This makes it even harder to understand, why the first german tank in GB and later in TC was the Panzer III. I definitely should have been the Panzer IV. 6 hours ago, Finkeren said: Light tanks would be whole lot more fun in a 1941 scenario, where we could have BTs and T-26s tangliing with Panzer IIs and 38(t)s. Yep, that would be nice. But I think most players would want to have the late war beasts, just like it was with the aircrafts as well.

Kataphrakt 123
If we're still doing eastern-front and are getting to around mid-late 1944, why not M4A2(76)s? About half the ~4000 M4s sent to the USSR were 76s, with those arriving around summer of 1944. Unfortunately there isnt much that the M4A2(75) and M4A2(76)W have in common. In-game we have the 57 degree front slope ("small hatch") version of the M4A2(75) instead of the "large hatch" version. All the M4A2(76)Ws were produced with the 47 degree front slope, large hatches, and wet ammunition stowage. For the M4A2(76) to be put into game and be historically accurate, the devs would have to model most of the tank only being able to carry over a few things from the current M4A2(75). It also appears that there are no surviving tanks from this line with the VVSS, but there seem to be some with the HVSS. If the devs plan to do US tank forces in the future some of this work would carry over too as the 76mm gun and D82081 turret would be useful for the other 76mm variants, and the HVSS would carry over as well. If we get US forces in TC I'll just hope that we get realistic quantities of the 76mm HVAP rounds (1 per tank, maybe). 😁 Here are some links with good info and pictures about the differences if anyone is interested: http://the.shadock.free.fr/sherman_minutia/sherman_types/m4a2/m4a2.html http://the.shadock.free.fr/sherman_minutia/manufacturer/m4a2largehatches/m4a2_largehatches.html If we want to do earlier for the eastern-front we can have everyone's "beloved" M3 Lee/grant 😁 For the German side, it'd be nice to see Hetzers and Stugs. [DBS]smee_ger_ac 5
As I love some mentions above but there is still much to do at the current Tank Crew. 1. Binoculars for commanders, for better range finding at greater distances 2. Artillery sights for the SU-122 and coming SU-152 3. More custom shell selection 4. Smoke shells, that are also working with the AI (blind anti tank guns) 5. And yes the light tanks would be great fun, but disaster for the airfields on the servers Edited February 4, 2020 by smee_ger_ac

Then as a pipe-dream until we get US forces, how about also getting the M4 Sherman's M9 gunner's quadrent, and M19 azimuth indicators so we can use that for indirect fire too? 😁
PatrickAWlson 5520
I like the idea of the more rare tanks being collector tanks. Create new battles with the most common tanks of the time.

wombatBritishBulldogs 115
Tanks will come in a natural projection i'm sure given the tanks popularity but what is needed i believe is German (below) and Allied field glasses ability to see just that little bit further (regardless of resolutions you always miss that odd pac let alone the darn howitzers + resulting in instant death
SCG_SchleiferGER 47
Hmmm...for the Kursk salient any Type of Marder would be great. For armored cars I would like to add Sdkfz 222 or 233.
Yogiflight 1156
I would like to have a 7.5cm Pak40, towed by a halftrack, which you can move to a position from which you fight enemy tanks and then tow it away with the halftrack to the next firing position. With its low shape, you should be able to give some surprise to enemies or opponents in MP.
