-        This mod allows to activate units that exist in the modcareer of the game but whose activation was omitted by the designer.


I activated and changed from AI unit to playable unit the V.Kdo f.P.B with Ju87G.
You will join the small experimental squadron JU 87 G in the spring of 1943 the 'Panzerjagdkommando Weiss'.


This unit performs a unique mission type; The attack of the armored units.
It would be possible historically to add ship attack missions. But the anti shipping has still not been modeled by the developer in the modcareer, it's a shame because it deprives the development of the big possibilities of the game on the Kuban card.

 

The JU87G were based in Kerch, to reduce the flight time to reach the front line, I plan to make a variant of this mod with transfers to airfields closer to the front line per period


The following AI units also appear now withthis mod:

 

-         - 15.(kroat.)/JG 52

-       -  Pz.Jg.St./JG 51

-        - III./St.G 77

I would like to have a Fighter career in the FW 190 A8. Is it possible to change the role to fighter instead of ground attacker per mod in the career? Also how to change airfields? I would like to play with the Hs 129 without having to fly 200+ km everytime.

In the Kuban modcareer there is a squadron of Hs129 based at Anapa and it is historic. It is less than 80 km from the front line. It is difficult to get closer.

For the W190 A8 you have to buy BOP and I have not done it yet ... I think the FW190 A8 can already do ground attacks.

 

Otherwise in BOK the FW190 A5 are use for ground attack

For the HS 129, i didnt check the career in BoK but in Stalingrad its way longer then 80km. The 190 is available as ground attacker only in BoK as far as i remember so i think its the same for the A8. Only the A3 in BoS has a fighter career. I would like to alter the mission type to fighter for it and need to know how. I thought everything career related is server side but you could alter some AI units and give them a Stuka for the anti tank role as a player. So there must be a way to change it.

Is it possible to have a variation of the mod that keeps the squadron at their historic airfield? I don't mind long flights.

Kuban: According to my documentation, the Ju87G were based in Kerch, and HS 129 in Kerch and Anapa. I think historically it's good.

But if you have any more information, I can try to modify the aerodromes.

 

In fact I can make changes for the squadron of the player but I'm not sure that it still works for AI squadrons, I still have not understood everything about the operation of AI in the Modcareer.

Ah, I must of misunderstood your first post then, I thought you were moving the unit closer to the front to save on flight time.

I think to do it but some airfields that are closest to the front line are not activated in the modCarer.

It made me find a way to do it.

Tried a flight with it, nice to have them available. Shame the AI dumps all their ammo in one pass though, but I imagine that isn't somethin you can do much about.

Hello Guy,

I noticed that in the mod career Kuban, the Ju52 escort missions for the Jagdwaffe was programmed but not activated in the "squadron" files.

I corrected that by preserving my mod for the Ju87G.

This adds a type of mission to supply the Kuban bridgehead when you play a German fighter career.

Cool! Have you tried to activate the interception of transports or any of the intelligence missions?  I didn’t succeed.

Hello,

In fact I only activated the template of the transport escort mission which was programmed by the designer but forgotten in the file "squadron"
For transport interception missions, the location is expected but the template has not been realized by the designer.

The realization of a new misson template is complex and I do not know how to do it.

Got it, thanks. I understand what to do instead of mission developers for a career is almost impossible. Just thinking, maybe others, too, in this way are just not yet activated.

Can you confirm any side effects this mod has on fighter squadron careers? I tried running with this mod active for a while, but it was interfering with my long standing Jg.52 career, since my squadron HQ listed two forms of Bf-109G-4 and two forms of Bf-109G-6. These alternate forms of G-4 and G-6 had non-default skins shown, but were unselectable to assign to pilots for missions as squadron commander, so it was as if I had fewer aircraft available to my squadron than I actually did.

Hello,

I do not know what happens if you already have a career in progress.

 

On my side I left with a new career.
I think with the mod is better to start a new career, if not to apply it
However, the mod should not influence a career in progress, it only makes visible on the HQ map squadrons already existing in the game but not activated. And skins do not influence the progress of a career.

For the skins, my "skin" file contains the names of skins that are present on my pc. All that can happen is that the program does not find them and uses the skins by default, it does not prevent the career from running ..

Otherwise you have to rename the skins of skin files according to the ones you have

It is not possible to affect the skins if you are not squadron commander. By cons if you follow what I indicate in this post you can have skins randomly customize winger. This is the program that assigns them to pilots.

I think the mods may have cross contaminated, I can test again in a bit, see if I can replicate the issue.

Ok, re-enabled the Panzerjadkommando Weiss mod, and after starting a new day in my JG-52 career, it showed 5 109 G-6s and one additional G-6 with a skin for my squadron. Attempting to assign aircraft to a flight, it only recognizes the first 5 109G-6s, not the 6th. (see screenshots). I've not tried the Ju-52 Escort mission mod yet.
