Send me a pic if you don’t mind Dutch. This way I know which weather preset it is. There is about six different ways to have grey sky. They are not all the same. Thanks

oh, crikey! never watch!

 

Its actually my  associates stream thats the proper channel, I just play, he actually puts on a show :)

I came across a cloud front for the first time on the way back from a mission, quite convenient because the flight path of the escorted bombers led directly through it.

Looks really good!

Hmmm...I just tried putting my mods back in now post 4.006 to see. Seems to be working just fine for me.

Pretty sure my clouds are up and working. The sim looks great.

 

Edit: Mind you, I did get two consecutive game crashes I have not seen before when I loaded up the 4K cloud maps on top of the other cloud mods. it said something like :

 

Error: too large resource, heavy clouds, type 4.

 

I removed the 4K cloud maps in the JSGME and the game ran fine.

No.  It seems to be with the white clouds with or without the cloud mod.  And it depends on the angle.  From one angle they are pixelated but move your head a bit and they are fully rendered.  It seems to be a deffered shading issue (?) especially with a Radeon card like I have.  (RX 580 8Gb)

A haze gives even worse pixelation.

I 'm also has RX 580 and got same problem . This can fix by change from FXAA to MSAA in game setting.

It does have to do with Game Version 4.006.

Other users do have the same graphics issue with blocky clouds, landscape etc.

The Dev Team will work on it. But it needs some time...

Yes, not going to be able to use this anymore. You can use the 2k if you want. On the other hand, lizlemon brought to my attention the other day that, no matter what size you make the cloud maps, they are always 512x512 when loaded back through the GPU. I suppose that although technically upscaling them doesn’t matter, it did however manipulate the clouds a bit.

I tried with the 2k version, it's working but the boiling effect drives me crazy 

It looks so unrealistic.

  Check your gpreset file. It may have been overwritten in the update.

Clouds V12 + Cumulonimbus , Nvidia GTX 1660 Super - works absolutely fine - no issues whatsoever. Was using 2K clouds prior but took off when revealed it doesn't really make much difference and I have been running without them. No boiling either - this is without the gpreset, but can try with it enabled if you want (?). I was previously using FXAA with no issues, and with the apparent FPS gain with the new rendering, I switched to MSAA (looks even better). No issues in either case so far.
