You can use this panels together with any joystick of any brand.

The problem is that this Saitek/Logitech panels are not "game controllers" - Windows/games don't see then as "joystick", they rely in need specific software for be usable in games, and Saitek/Logitech provide this software only for FSX and X-Plane.

Are other other topics in this forum with solution provided by 3rd part, for use some of this panels, e.g. that with landing gear and switches, in DCS, IL-2's...

"Radio panels" will not work in Bo'X, as radios is not modeled in game, neither the data need by this module is exported.

Hmm, so not much usable then.

Had hoped I could move some of the commands from the keyboard, to a panel.

As said Saitek/Logitech Switch Panel are usable in DCS/ IL-2's with this player made software:

In IL-2 what will be missed is the Landing Gear lights lighting like in the game, since the game don't "talk" with external devices, he just "listen" then (means accept inputs from joy, keyboard, mouse, etc).

Anyway this buttons/encoders panels are less problematic for use - is just like a joystick:

Im using an Elgato Stream Deck in order to bind keys that wont fit on the hotas (or I dont want on the hotas). They come in three different sizes, and you can easily execute hotkeys to its buttons, start il2 with another button and even create subfolders (like press one key in order to get a layout with all the avaliable gunner commands). I use the one with 5 x 3 buttons, and it´s a perfect size for me. Might not exactly look like flight interior, but very handy.
