Hi Julian,

I know that this is vey presumptive, but any chance that you could offer a Blue 5 version of your JG 301 Blue 15?

Hello Marsh
It would be the same skin with a blue 5 or the blue 5 already existing...?:salute:

Just removing the '1' so it was absolutely identical but numbered as Blue 5 instead of Blue 15.

I just got in the habit of flying aircraft numbered as '5'..

Hello everyone!

I tried to make this skin of the Fw 190 D-9 JV 44 White 1 of Hptm.Waldemar Wubke as
the 1/48 model of the Dragon that I did many, many years ago.
I hope you like it, my view is not the same as before, so there could be several errors ...
If there are any, let me know! And if you want to do it again, I can give you the "wheel with wings"
already ready and hard to find.
However, if you want it, the download is here:

@Madcop; Do you have any info on this FW 190D, skinned by E69_julian57, as it seems he didn't (nor did I)

This aircraft was an unassigned Dora-9, W.Nr. unknown, found destroyed with a profusion of schrapnel holes at the bombed Fieseler factory at Kassel, in Hessen, Germany.

Spoiler

Source #1 : Focke-Wulf Fw 190D camouflage & markings Part 2, by Deboeck, Larger & Poruba, JaPo :

"This late-production Gerhard Fieseler Werke Dora 9 was discovered in front of one of the bombed-out Fieseler assembly halls at Kassel-Waldau; it was probably destroyed in a strafing or bombing raid. The aircraft shows an unfinished camouflage scheme, and displays various features that point to the end of the Fieseler licence production of the Dora 9. The original Junkers of the engine section was partly repainted with RLM 76, and some hastly applied streaks of one of the camouflage greens...".

Source #2 : The Force-Wulf Fw 190 Dora, volume two, by Jerry Crandall, Eagles Editions Ltd. :

"...Judging by the lack of any exhaust staining on the engine cowling, this was a brand new aircraft that had probably not yet been flown, but the White ’100’ ferrying flight number has been applied in anticipation of beeing assigned to a combat unit...".

^Your colors are way too over-saturated.

In what way? I dont use the alpha channel. That wet look is far from realistic. Its hard to get the RLM color that is as dull and war worn as it was in combat.

I prefer a more matte look too, dislike the shiny wet look a lot of skins have, but what Luke means is that the colours you have used are quite bright and rich.
