RIP William Overstreet Jr., WWII veteran pilot of "Berlin Express"

Bill Overstreet was the pilot of the P-51 "Berlin Express" that flew under the Eiffel Tower chasing an Me-109 in early 1944.   I've provided a link to the local news article reporting his death below:

I never had the pleasure of meeting the man, but am proud that a young man from a small rural town in Virginia could take on all that he did during the war, survive and return back home for a long and (apparently) happy life.

great pilot, I wish he was remembered for more than just the Eiffel Tower story though (which is nothing incredible per se and according to some vets I met was a bit "embellished").
