UK pilot in need of squadmates

Hello all!

 

I've been flying BoS/M for almost a month now, mainly the Fw190, Bf109s, or the He111.

 

Although now competent with basic aircraft operation, I am still a relative novice. I would really like to get better at combat and experience the game properly: i. e. with a wingman or squad.

 

Is anyone else looking for a fellow virtual pilot to fly with?

 

I am based in the UK, over 18, and would love to fly with pilots of all experience levels on evenings and weekends. I don't mind flying Axis or Allies and although I prefer Axis and fighters, I am perfectly willing to do Ground attack, Level bombing, and/or Allies (I've practiced all of these a bit).

 

I would love to fly as often as possible, but am not interested in a clan with a really strict, mandatory schedule as I don't want to cause grief if I can't fly for a week.

 

 

 

TL;DR: 18+, friendly, English-speaking pilot in UK looking for wingmen to fly with on European evenings/weekends, for any faction and in (almost) any plane!

Have a look at us, Most of our guys are UK/ Denmark and New Zealand based. Some of us are in the US, Canada as well. We do not have any "set time to fly" We fly when we can. Sometimes (most on the weekends) We have 9 to 12 members on line. We are a Bomber squad but a few of us do fly strike and fighters too.

As BK has said if you're interested in flying as part of a team then give KG4 a thought.  We have no set squad nights, we're all adults who have jobs, lives and families...all of which get in the way of us playing with digital aircraft.

Hello Oliki, as a Zerstörer squad ground attack is our preferred duty. We fly everything suited for the task from Stukas to Bf 110s, Heinkels and Ju 88s. Occasionally we also get into fighters and fly Jabo missions or cruise around in the lovely Ju 52.

ZG26 is a mixed bag consisting of mainly english and german members atm. We got no fixed wings nor strict rules and flight times.

We have members from all over, I'm in the UK and prefer the 190, sometimes the 109. We have trainers and resources to help you improve, and there's usually a couple online every night. We also have missions flights of bombers and escorts that are good fun.

The Tangmere Pilots are a long established squadron and our focus is on flying a weekly co-op campaign. We've just started a new campaign flying 109's during the Battle for Moscow.

Check out my post about the FFS squadron (in this same board), I think you might like it.  I've got a few 109 pilots in my unit, including myself.  Most recent member is from the UK as well.

Just to add to what Prangster's written: like - I suppose - most well-established squadrons, TP offer training in various guises, but with added dubious "mentorship" and merciless "banter". We fly coops (MP against AI in "scripted" missions put together by our great Mission builders) once a week, plus frequent mid-week dogfighting muckabouts and piling on to MP Servers. There's usually somebody about on Tuesdays and Fridays.

 

Our coop difficulty settings are a step down from full real, to allow for external views. This is so that a) once you're dead in a Mission you can watch everyone else die also, and b) you can assure people that no one is watching as they line up for finals...)
