Thank you Iceman and Spectre

Now Spektre you did mention that you were going to do another Croat skin for the Macchi...........No?

The wait is killing me so I thought I'd ask as politely and in as groveling a tone as I can manage, if you are or if its dropped off the "To Do" list.

Of course no issue really but I'd just like to know that way I can either rejoice or throw all my toys outta the pram

Sorry if its Off Topic and I really appreciate all the hours of work done by the skinners........................you have my gratitude, so I feel sorta mean asking but heh you don't ask..................................

Yeah I forgot them on all of the planes. I will have to fix that sometime in the future. The Stab I.Schl.G.1 Staffel Pack will have them. That is what is coming next.

Wow Spektre your Wespen pack is superb as always as well as great skins from Iceman and all the others.

Here is an historic one I churned out tonight from a profile of an E7 I had lying around. As far as I know it is 7/JG 2 and you will notice the 26 kill marks on the tail. I am sure one of you guys out there will be able to tell me more about it such as theatre of operations and maybe the pilot.

Anyway it's 95% done so i'll post the download link tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your interest in my skins.

Rob.

P.S.Please don't forget all my skins carry full historic Luftwaffe insignia.

he was shot down by Royal Navy AAA and force landed near Swanage, Dorset (England) on 9 June 1941. Prisoner of war.

Hey guys, awesome work on the skins, I downloaded all of them!

I'd love to see the one attached.

I know it is an E-3 and not an E-7, but I would just love to see this. This is how the Bf109 E-3 of the Deutsches Museum in Munich should look like after the restoration in 2019.

I am currently helping them with the research and you can help, too. for more infos feel free to look in the thread linked in my signature ;)

As for the colors: The top side is RLM 62 (green), underside is RLM 65 light blue, like on this model:

http://modelingmadness.com/scott/axis/luft/me/109/48e1.htm

Mickey Mouse: see attachment

And the nose art you see over the exhausts.... well we don't know what it is since the original photograph is untraceable. Do you have an idea what it might be?

Thank you!

Just a question- and hope I don´t sound ignorant: Isn´t the blueish appearance of the camouflage on the main fuselage caused by the colours changing due to the old (analog) photograph?

If I look more carefully I wonder where all the green has gone on the plane´s wings (or isn´t that the grey-green pattern)?

The skin looks great as it is different, still my "two cents" ;)

Although i like the ZG1 skins, for the Battle of Stalingrad scenario a Schlachtgeschwader skin would be more usefull. Stab 1 and Gruppe 1 actually flew them there.

Maybe a nice option?

Also, ISA chield must be black, not light blue.

8./ZG1 'Wespen' Staffel Pack

Aircraft in the pack include:

  • S9 + AD

Mate. S9+AD is an aircraft of Gruppenkomandeur of III./ZG1. Here is S9+CD, for example, from Stab III./ZG1.

post-1464-0-41896600-1447025257_thumb.jpg

For 8./ZG1, You need to make S9+AS (for 7./ZG1 and 9./ZG1 it would be S9+AR and S9+AT respectively).

BF-109 E7 "White 8".

Here is another repaint of an E7 I reproduced from a profile. It is I think a JG26 109 but again I am not sure so someone (Pierre) will set me straight on that for sure.
I've included the link to my 7/ JG 2 skin as well.

Thanks Rob.

So I rename my skin pack correct? I'll make the correct 8 Staffel pack. It's not a huge deal. Just a color change on the propeller hub and the letters to S9 + #S. Thanks buddy I can always count on you. Looks like I have two more skin packs to make. Does teh Stab III.ZG1 pack have 16 aircraft or just S9+AD and S9+CD?

PACK NAME EDITED GUYS. SO, SORRY!

@ SPEKTRE:

Usually, Stab of Gruppe consisted of 4 aircraft. So +AD, BD, CD and DD.

I will fix it brother! And I will upload an Ultra Mega pack consisting of all three Staffels in III./ZG1 along with those four aircraft.

Hi viperm,

you are right : one of the Bf 109 E-7/N of 7./JG 26 commanded by Joachim Müncheberg and dispatched to Sicily and later Libya to fight RAF over Malta during Summer 1941.
