Work, but there more practical, effective and easy way to turn a potentiometer for rudder control (and more cheap than a X-52).  :)

It was probably a spare one collecting dust.

And you're probably right about better ways to do it, but that involves soldering and rewiring.

It's quite daunting if you're not familiar with those skills.

I think it's great to see how inventive people can be.

Some of them remind me of this (yea this has really been my first pedals):

Not pretty but cheap (20€) + I didn't really care about perfection rather than a "proof of concept". Suprisingly enought they really worked....for 2 months. Than strings began to rip and rubbers to tear off.

Perfect for a young guy with crappy skills and no money to get some of the more serious stuff :)

Haha these are great, I think I need to re-purpose some old controllers.... The twist rudder on msfb2 just lacks the necessary precision.

This was my first bit of hardware modding and they worked well but I never got around to making toe brakes for it :)

Since I fly with the Crosswind pedals, my CH pedals are for sale.

I live in Europe, so if interested, shoot me a PM.

I also have a MSFFB2 and a (spikey) Saitek throttle Quadrant.

I just got making my own homemade pedals, out of a computer mouse ;)

Here it is :) It's not perfect, but giving the tools a student has in this bedroom, it's not that bad :)
