Awesome!

I think the future of this il2 series are going to be awesome.

I wonder what comes after BOM. I'm very positive about this when we keep seeing amazing improvements.

If only the bomb sight bug was fixed but I guess that comes soon as well :)

The BoM campaign will begin on Oct. 2, 1941 and will end on April 20, 1942. You'll see autumn and winter maps.

The spring 1942 was very cold and the snow began to melt only the April 10. Therefore, we've no plan to do additional spring map for BoM.

I have read that whole winter of 41-42 was extremely cold in Moscow area.

So does that mean there will be land that is partially covered in snow?

Just curious because there are skins that are partial green/tan/gray/white.

Snow cover was established only on November 4. The first two phases of the campaign will have the normal autumn map like you can see today on the new screens)

This is just beautiful. IMHO it looks even better in game than the comparison shot!

(Games have better resolution than real life after all) :)

Thank you team.

The tracks are backwards, a common museum issue.  Although, to be fair, the tracks are sometimes (rarely) seen backwards on one or both sides in WW2 pictures.

Now that you mention it ...

This game deserves to be seen more beautifully than my current PC can manage.

I just realised that there is no disruption of the water from the 109's presence. Too much to expect? Genuinely curious.

Well, it's modelled in RoF, so I'd expect to see it here as well.

That being said, the 109 is a fair bit up in the air, and from the angle I'd say it seems like we don't actually see the part of water that's directly underneath the 109 in the picture so...

I honestly don't know what to make of it.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the name/type of the gunboat shown in the screenshot?

Seems like a soviet gunboat "Usyskin" (launched in 1934, Volga Flotilla).
