Gems like this make you realise how trashy today's music is.

I think the first time I consciously listened to this song was driving through a Florida night, windows down and blasting 107.3 Jack FM (now sadly gone, too).

I guess I was born in the wrong decade...

Haven't listened to this for years. It brought tears to my eyes just to do so. If you know what it is about, you may understand why. Sometimes painful things need to be remembered...

At this point in my life, after 51 years, I consider their music to be the among the most important ever made.

It would never have happened the way it did without Syd.

Studio not required. Donkey optional. Perfect...

I've seen a donkey and girls show in Tijuana, few years ago. Is this the same team?🤣

Here are some songs that my French teachers in middle school and high school would quite frequently play in French class. To be honest they are really good.

I heard this song a lot in French class when I was in Grade 6.

Would hear these more often during French class in high school

Who says women can't rock HARD!

They write their own stuff.  They play their own instruments.  Not a manufactured J-Pop group.

They've finally gotten away from those ridiculous maid costumes (except for the founder and rhythm guitarist (Rickenbacker) but it got them the attention they needed starting out in Japan.

As a bass player myself I am quite impressed with the rhythm section.

I don't consider myself a country music fan by any means, but the first time I heard Glen sing this tune, it probably went straight into my top 10 songs of all time.

The song was written by John Hartford but Glen made it what it is.

Studio version and a live version.  The guitar solo on the live version shows how easy this man made it all look (Song starts from 1:50 for live version. solo @ 3:09) .

RIP Glen.
