Detailed description, conditions: Sometimes, the JU-88 canopy will be jettisoned but still visible on the aircraft for a short period of time.

Brief description: Textures on cables in the cockpit of M.C. 202
Detailed description, conditions: Some cables present an evidently "muddy" texture. The source texture for this cable seems to be the same as the white/black "sleeving" on some cables of the 109, but it seems to be applied incorrectly, and the result is a blurry mess.
Additional assets (videos, screenshots, logs): Cannot provide at the moment. If another user would be so kind to take a zoomed-in screenshot of either the front dash or the left cockpit panel and post it here, the issue will be clear enough.

Brief description: He111 right fuel flow gauge not working correctly

Detailed description, conditions: On several occasions, the right fuel flow gauge doesn't work right, while the left one is perfectly ok. It can be showing 0 during taxi and take off, and after a while showing a static random value.

The MiG-3 model was updated with corrected lower engine cowling joint shape and better modeled starter tooth a few months back. The devs actually did it so fast that there were some other things I had found that didn't make it into that 3d update. I just wanted to poke back in here and make sure that in all the latest action with BoM release and the upcoming announcements of the next release and the DLC Collector Planes that this didn't become lost.

 

Since I cannot fit everything into this single post, I will be putting as much details as I can into this thread. http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/18289-mig-3-3d-model/?do=findComment&comment=379307

The last remaining 3d fixes needed on the MiG-3 are...
1. The tip of the nose cone/spinner still needs to be sharpened a bit.
2. The overall shape of the lower cowling needs to be trimmed down a bit and less curved. In photos of wartime aircraft it looks like a straight line from the wing roots to the spinner without curves on the bottom.
3. Chin air scoop. The main air scoop on the front centre of the lower cowling needs to be enlarged. The rear tip of it should be in line with the second from front latch on the lower cowling and the front should be at where it is currently. It also needs to be widened a bit.
4. The exhaust pipes are modeled as straight (I believe after the restored MiG used as reference) when they should be curved a bit similar to Yak and LaGG pipes.
5. The edges of the landing gear doors have hooked points on the tip on one side and rounded off corners on the other side. They should be two straight lines at an angle that meet at a slight curve in the center.
6. Oil cooler tunnels on the sides of the nose protrude too far outward to the sides. I believe this was also modeled on the restored aircraft as it has much larger cooling ducts due to different engine. The right side tunnel should be shorter than the left side tunnel. The front should start roughly just ahead of the exhaust and the second from front latch on the upper cowling. The indention into the fuselage should remain as it is the correct length. The cooling tunnels are not symmetrical.
7. The gaps in the ailerons are only on modern MiG-3 restorations. On wartime aircraft the gaps were covered with fabric.

Brief description: Texture bug on radios in Me-110 rear cockpit

Found some more missing textures on the Moscow map now in grids 2306/2307. As before apperrs as a rectangle through a forest.  I haven't seen these before however I have just updated Nvidia drivers to 375.63 Edit updated to 375.70 drivers issue still there.

This bug occured while flying in a hazy environment and it looked like it has to do with it. It was gone as soon I was flying through and dis- and reappeared depending on the rolling position my plane was in.

Detailed description, conditions:The movement of head simulates the eyes  located on spine. Eyes should be offset forward by approx 150mm. This adjustment will add highly to the immersion when looking around. Especially the check 6 position is improved and brings a whole new sense of realism.

Brief description: Incorrect draw lod of ground textures.

Detailed description, conditions: Near ground textures are more than just sometimes draw in bad lod version.  Majority of those kind of issues are the textures starts to appear blurred far to near of our plane. You can see explames where textures should be clear becouse they  are in the same distance of their sharp  neighbors but they are blurry. There are even some situation where textures behind (further distance from player) are draw in higher lod that nearest ones - those stand out more and broke visuals immersion of the game.

I have game run on ultra,  4x distant landsacpe detail, installed on fast SSD drive.

Brief description: Railroad track blockage in 2 areas at Novomakimovsky. Stalingrad Map.

version 2.006 > in hall very low fps for 10 seconds or so. But more important- looking at the airplane with haze behind (like smoke from exlposions), makes a halo arround it. plus the grass and bushes are flickering when paused.

When flying low in summer and autumn the trees have a lot of "poping", also gives the sensation that the screen is divided into three horizontal parts and it changes the shape and quality of the image as they are seen in one or other of those parts .

On the other hand since the last update (2006)? I have disappeared the aid to the targeted, I mean the cross with the little point in the middle that came out in the crosshairs and that was visualized near the enemy plane when you were at a distance of shot.

I do not know how to attach videos, which are usually too heavy for the email and in the catches the poping is not going to see, but it is the same as what happens with the herb in the post https://forum.il2sturmovik.com / Topic / 12255-graphics-models-and-maps /? P = 334718, only that instead of being the grass are the trees that make that visual effect that is very ugly and very unpleasant and disdice of the graphic quality of the game Which is very high overall

Detailed description, conditions:

Repro:

  • Use launcher to start the game
  • Set mode to window mode (NOT full screen mode)
  • Set resolution to something lower than max, for example 1280 x 720
  • Game starts
  • Observe that the mouse pointer is only visible within the game's window; the mouse pointer is not visible outside of the game's window.

Brief description: Error with Velikiye Luki map overlay dimensions.

Detailed description, conditions: The overlay has to be 524 pixels high to work but in game it's stretched downward to 624 pixels. So the only way to produce an non distorted overlay is to draw it within the 524 area but then add an additional 100 pixels at the bottom to make it 624. This all then needs to be resized to 524, including the blank area, and saved as a SWF of 832 x 524.

 
When seen on the in game map the red bottom section wont be visible.

Brief description:  Windsock not working as it should

 

Detailed description, conditions: In game, the windsock is oriented in the opposite direction of where the wind is blowing to.

For example, when you read a wind 270° in the bomber meteo tab, the wind will be coming from 270° and blowing to 90°. So the tip of the windsock should be pointing to the east, but in the game it is pointing west. 

 

Problem is that when you enter 090 in the mission editor, it sets the actual wind from 270° (blowing to 90°), but the sock acts like if the wind was from 90°

Brief description: Small missing paint work on BF110G2 skin.

 

Detailed description:The new and astonishing artwork on the BF110G2 has some minor graphical glitches on the aircrafts with nose art.

When the 37 mm cannon is selected, the two default undernose cannons are deleted and a small plate cover that modified area. The skins are perfect in normal configuration but when selected the such loadout, the plate is placed in the nose of the aircraft. That plate is not painted with the noseart, creating a quadrangular patch. The skins affected are: AlbretchHerget and Ossman. See the attached pictures with the cannon loadout selected; clearly you'll notice the missing artwork. Inside the red circle is located the bug. In Herget plane with his red sharkmouth is more noticeable.

About the Macchi cockpit; in 2.008 the "see-through gauges" problem has been fixed, but the inclinometer glass is still incorrect.

KV-1 is struck by a SC 50 bomb in the right rear track and registers no elimination or smoke. This occurred on a practice mission I created in the Mission Editor. I have destroyed this particular tank many times in previous missions and it is not attributable to MUI settings for the mission.

I also have a video of a T-34 taking a hit on the opposite rear track and while not destroyed, it did smoke. Please let me know if you would like to view it.

Brief description: He-111 canopy (the one above the pilot) doesn't get jettisoned/opened when the bail out sequence is started. It happens to both  the H-6 and the H-16. It used to work correctly before the last two updates if I remember correctly
 
Detailed description, conditions: the problem described above happens everytime the bail out sequence is initiated. The pilot and front gunner/bombardier bail out through the 3d mesh while the rest of the crew does it through the correctly jettisoned lower hatch.
