Brief description: Manoyli runway not modeled

 

Detailed description: On the Stalingrad Winter map, the surface of the runway on Manoyli airfield (230-2 on the map) is behaving like if it was an area with deep snow on it, and not a taxiway/runway. Hard to roll on it with any plane and Bf110 nose over if you try to take off. I tried it both on Wings of Liberty and in quick mission and the result is the same.

On a He111 that oil radiator control (red handle) has no animation when you open/close it ,  the two water controls (green) work fine, i think the oil one was supposed to work the same .

Brief description: minor modeling bug

Detailed description, conditions: severe damage to Mig3 sliding canopy part is displayed as "standard canopy jetision" animation in any outside view with canopy completly gone after the event.. inside view however shows the canopyframe in closed position over pilot and opening/closing it via normal controls work in this perspective. 100% reproducable by damaging canopy on purpose

2nd Bug:

Brief description: minor camera bug on tank replays

 

Detailed description, conditions: while watching MP tank recorded tracks, switching back to original FP-view via F1 key leads to wrong camera coordinates settings

vid also features the allready know "reloading timer" bug giving the tank 2 virtual gunbarrels by having not one, but two reloading timers for each type of ammo making it possible to hold both an ap and an he shell at ready in the breach..

3d Model Bug in 1.107

 

the Pe2 series 35 outside model is shown, in the detail-reduced distance versions up to the last 20m or so as series 87 with the nose antenna fairing and different color textures that you can see it it jump

 

how to reproduce: take QMB, take Pe2S35 zoom out via S key...  light conditions have an influence on color tone difference, but you can always see the nose antenna fairing jump away.

It's controlled with the keyboard. 

 

What do you mean by that ? I'm saying that it has no animation , unlike the water  controls . If i move water radiator from 0 to 50% i see those handles sliding up , the oil one has no animation , it's a stiff . Wasn't suppose to slide like the green ones ? I tried the Normal settings and Automatic radiator control, it's the same , it doesn't move .

L.E. : my fault, i was under the false impression that red handle is for oil radiators , it is not , they are on the left side :wacko:  .

Not sure if this is a bug or is intended by design but the wing camo pattern on the BF109E7 is inconsistent. Looks like there are missing textures or misalignment on them. I think that in the right wing the camo should at least reach the aileron.

Brief description:   The star Alpha Orionis is missing

Detailed description, conditions:   When flying a night mission, I noticed that the star Alpha Orionis (= Betelgeuse) was either not rendered or was possibly rendered, but incredibly faint. This applied on several different night missions (2 x quick missions and 1 x campaign mission).

Note that the orientation of this last screenshot is not exactly the same due to limitations of the view-angles in the different programs.

Detailed description, conditions: After firing a couple of 37mm cannon shell on the Ju-87, the pilot get killed and the gunner simply disappeard

Brief description: Trees on the airfields

 

Detailed description: There are many airfields with trees that really get in the way of taxiing. Attached a screenshot from Morozovskiy west airfield as an example. Please take a look at all the airfields in Stalingrad map and make sure trees are not placed too close to taxi ways.

I've observed that the grass and ground textures flicker like this on balanced, high and ultra settings, and on low only the grass flickers like this.

Brief description:   Static object rotating on map

Detailed description, conditions:  Static object - river crossing building rotating depending on distance to object and zoom level also. Could be seen on track (~6min towards end).

Brief description:   The Il-2M42 model has some cockpit graphics that are corrupted/missing/etc

 

Detailed description, conditions: Screenshots attached. It is the Il-2M42with the rear gunner and the issues were circled. The rear view stuff was when I used my TrackIr to lean back and forth to cause the off-white line to get thicker or narrower. I tried without rear gunner, both issues still present. Circled in red just to be certain they aren't missed.

 

System: Latest nVidia drivers, graphics at Ultra, 2560x1440, 4x Landscape detail, 4x FSAA, HDR, No SSAO, full screen.

Brief description:   Clear sky bar traverses the screen when in F4 follow plane view

 

Detailed description, conditions: When in the F4, default key, follow plane view and following a plane that goes vertical through the base of clouds a bar of clear sky will traverse from the top of the screen to the bottom which appears to be when going through the bottom of the clouds near vertically. I have only tried it when pulled up into the clouds, so the top of the screen would be where the base of the clouds if first broken through. It is very quick, or depending on the speed in the vertical manuever. It only happens in F4 follow plane view. I have not seen it in cockpit for in F2 view. This was in QMB on the Stalingrad Autumn map at 8AM with Average clouds. It also happens above the clouds, before breaking what is visibly the top of the clouds.

Brief description:   109E7 distant LOD is full model when missing a wing

 

Detailed description, conditions: Shot the wing of a 109E7 and watched it gain back that wing at far distance LOD. Screenshots provided showing difference between zoomed out and zoomed in so the LOD is closer. When the wing was shot off, the 109E7 was very close and zoom hadn't changed. It proceeded behind me and then fell away then suddenly grew its wing back without changing zoom.

Brief description:   Aircraft with no fuel or other ordnance explode when impacting the ground

 

Detailed description, conditions: All ordnance expended, no fuel in the tanks enough vapors to make someone's flatulence set on fire to seem like a Hollywood explosion in comparison, but there is still a huge explosion and subsequent fireball somehow. The aircraft should just smack into the ground and break apart, or go in with the tail sticking out depending on how "hard" the ground is.

Brief description: Blurry ground textures at close range

 

Detailed description: There are very noticeable blurry ground textures at very close range. I don`t know if it has something to do with ultrawide screen, my resolution is 3440x1440. It is easiest to see on Stalingrad summer map. These screens are after the latest patch.

Brief description: Weird cloud rendering


 


Detailed description: This is what I got when flying low above clouds on the moscow autumn map during campaign. EDIT : happens on all maps, with overcast weather.


I don't remember having seen this before the last big update.

Brief description: Graphic bug when viewing left wing with pilot head forward in cockpit view of Pe-2 all series


Detailed description, conditions: Exterior part of left wing overlaps the metal framework of the left cockpit window.  This does not occur when  viewing the right wing.

Ju88 front defense MG fabric barrier cover is missing in F2 external view, rear MG Fabric barrier cover is missing in cockpit view and alt+F2 view.

Ju88A4's attach rope for life raft on the left dorsal is missing. I am not sure if it's because there has a proof shows that the life raft is not a standard equipment for Ju88 on eastern front, or just for saving Polygons.

in the BoM Pe-2 Series 35 the reargun "grab/going to action" movement is inversed.. instead of coming from the resting position on left side of the aircraft (right side in gunners view) it moves to the left side of the aircraft. Probably just a + instead of a minus somewhere..

 

 

 

sidenote:

all Pe upper rear machineguns lack ammo-feeding chute when looked at from outside view.

 

additional find

Pe2-35 reargun has a weird "sticky" movement when moved towards the lower limit of elevation in middle position (ie: guns sticks to horizontal line). There is a with very small area o "impossible to aim" space above the lower "sticky" limit, so I´m not sure if that is a bug or simulating some resting position, but it seems very distracting.

 

I also noted it is essentially the same mount as in the Il2:41 model for the unlockable reargunner, but it has 3 positions instead of free traverse, in game? Was the mount changed or is this just a different modeling approach?
