Thanks again for this Chuck. I always have one of your Aircraft Guides displayed on laptop when I fly BoS. Are these new ones 'revised' in any way or can i just stick with the ones I have from several months ago?

Revised, but not quite perfect yet (mainly supercharger info has been updated, some omissions fixed like the Stuka window). I still haven't implemented dive bombing tutorials in there... so I didn't mention anything about the Pe-2 and Ju-87 airbrakes.

This is not the official material. But it's better than what we have now (which is nothing).

This is most asked for material (with official manuals being most asked *about*). Thank you.

Have you considered uploading these into tutorials section of steam BoS in some form?

Me again!

I had a quick look now (Thx I said in advance).....Chuck! These are 252 pages!!! This is a complete manual! What an outstanding effort! ...soooo much apreciated, personally I would have no problem to spend some money on you just to let you know, there's s/thg. you'll get from a "life with no sleep".

So much splendid work you did.

Thank you very much again! You are one of a few in these and other forums, like...like, .... like a "beacon", that's it! Sir! :salute:

I don't think it's that big to be honest... I'm pretty sure the combined stuff I did for DCS is just as big, if not bigger.

You should see the F-86 manual for DCS... now THAT was exhausting.https://dl.dropboxus...Sabre Guide.pdf

I'll have to fix some bits of information here and there, like that new oxygen mask functionality and fuel capacities... I just noticed that they added the fuel qty. in liters in the game. That's neat.

PDF open OK here.

BTW - On page 49 the (*La5) Forsazh (форсаж) button operation is noted inverted.

Is Push to activate the Boost, Pull to deactivate. Not problem for most people that fly by "Technochato".  :)

Chuck, if you are ever in Kansas City I will treat you to a BarbeQue dinner.

That said (and thanks to Matt)

I have noticed that most of the dog fighting takes place at below 3,000 meters.  Looking at the graph the Matt made and that I took in part and butchered and attached I am a bit puzzled and want to make sure I understand this right.

At 1,500 metes the Yak-1 should be able to almost reach 600 km/h?   I think I am totally misunderstanding what the graph is telling me.
