  1. Very sad to hear this. I havent been active for quite some time, however in old RoF times I flew with the 1.PL guys many times. Condolances to all.
  2. I got everything set on best performace. Tried everything you guys described, without improvement. I also tried another game (asseto Corsa) also with vsync - no issue whatsoever. So its very weird.
  3. Compare pilot and numbers on tail - second picture they are much lesss crisp. Problem was also catching the more blurred state - it is much more in the worst case - to the point of making the enemy planes unrecognisable at a medium distance.
  4. Thank you for the suggestions - most didnt work, a few I need to test out still. Behaviour is very strange and I cant seem to trace it. Normally the rig should be handling it without an issue. Will test more tommorow.
  5. Hi all I have been having massive problems with stutters recently. My spec: I7 4790K 16gb ram SSD (forgot what) GTX1080TI Asus ROG PG279 (GSysnc) res 2560*1440 144Hz) In game I use ULTRA and switch between settings - usually FPS dont drop below 100 - game FPS is usually 150+ and refresh rate is around 144 (G sync enabled) - it rearly goes below 100 Situation - in MP or Sp I have been getting stutters where the screen freezes for a few ms and that unfrezes again. Each few seconds the stutter happens, usually when there is a big change of view direction. I used the G-sync since a long time and for a some time I though it was MP lag or data transfer dependant, (I played MP only), however recently it became unberable because I overcorrect due to the freeze. So I tried of SP as well (QMB, Kuban). And there is no difference. I tried to play with MP traffic limits before, than I changed graphics settings from very high to very low with no significant change - the freeze remains. And what is most annoying - I now tested fixed refresh rate and vsync with 2 frames max pre-prepared. And instead of the stutter I now get picture corruption and smooth gameplay. See screenies below. I cannot find the reason in the settings and I would like to trace the issue if it is my computer so that I replace / upgrade. Spec wise I should not have to upgrade by any way. So something must be off. Perhaps even PSU? (got a brand new Gigabyte 750W high end one) Can anyone help / did anyone experiance something simmilar before stutter (VSYNC) During stutter (VSYNC)
  6. Thank you for the fast action. My only intention was to bring the issue to the foreground, didn't want to put pressure on anyone. And the team delivered as usual - that is why I keep my full support since a long time, thank you again.
  7. Jason - there is a massive difference and it is NOT lag related as it is happening on multiple servers to a multitude of people with varying connections.... And it all started after the update - immediately after update. It has to be looked after, in current state MP is not playable in a competitive manner (TAW...)
  8. DM is very strange. A lot of 1 shot 100% damage. And just now 5 109s got shot down by a Pe2 flying more or less straight. The PE2 recieved at least 50 cannon shots of 20mm by all of us. Kept on flying. And I got shot down flying past at 90 degree angle already at least 300m away from plane flying at 450kmh. Not cherry picking - my first 2 La5 kills were the same - one shot into the wing from the top and they were down. One sortie before - I needed almost complete ammo load to shoot down a La5. Sorry, but this is far from plausible.

Not a lag issue - my both kills with instant 100% damage were extremly short time frame snap shots - both planes almost at 90 degrees to me and the hit was only one close to the tip of wing - I had less than 0,5 sec time where the guns solution was ok (very high deflection shot) Effect was complete wing ripped out instantly. Me being shot down was very simmilar to that, just that it was done by a Pe2 gunner with a wepon that should be nowhere as potent as that.

  12. I know the argument full well and I say it intentionaly. Camel that we have is the original RoF camel which is a rocketship and in old RoF days equality between Camel and Dr.I was achieved at about 20% fuel camel and 30% fuel Dr.I Dr.I in BoS is not so powerfull so I would give a bit more fuel to the Camel. It would help the Pfalz as well.
  13. For Flying Circus planes please make it air start and 30% fuel locked. It would be great that way.
  14. Rate of fire was adjusted in RoF some time ago - also detailed dev explanation was given. Vickers wihtout booster was about 400 rpm, with booster 800 rpm and Maxim (Spandau?) around 650 trough the war. This is of the top of my head without checking. Lewis is also somewhere at 700 rpm This means that until the Camel / SE5a the guns are quite crap, but than its a completly other story. As for the rotarys the rews play a huge role in the fire rate - not so noticeable with the boosted ones, but unboosted really suffer and sometimes it makes sence to throttle down to about 1000 rpm for the firing ( N17 / Pup / Triplane...)
  15. Kill the AAA by a group of fighters first, than attack with the slow cumbersome planes. Teamwork is key. And fast dive towards target is easy for AAA - you need to change trajectory of plane to make the AAA adjust the aim - so fly past it on the edge of its range so it tracks you and at the same time your mate comes from the other side and takes it out. So what if you fly at 700km/h - as long as your trajectory is straight towards the AAA you are going to get hit - unless the AAA is tracking another plane and it is pointed away from you.
