Meh, I can't really get behind this. If I want to play alt-history I can easily boot up War Thunder and indulge in that. That's just me though.

@Aurora_Stealth, thanks! I finding just relaxing while behind the stick the most effective method of flying for me. It makes everything else just kinda fall into place.

I remember seeing this occur in War Thunder as well. Very odd indeed. I really hope to see IL-2 updated to next-gen fidelity one day!

I really believe this sim could use some love in the landscape department. On the deck, the trees especially look very... ancient. With the current game engine I don't know if this would be possible but it would make for a brilliant update if so!

@szelljr, if you ever get around to it, we would love to see some Bf 109 F-4 and G-2 skins 😁

I'm not sure when some of these skins were removed from the game (presumably after the update to 4K textures a few years ago) but is there a way to retrieve them from the game's files or someone who is willing to recreate them using the updated templates? 😁 The skins in question:

Is this in all aircraft or just one in particular? You could try deleting aircraft in the following directory: C:\Program Files (X86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\IL2 Sturmovik\Data\LuaScripts\Snapviews... The next time you boot up the game they will auto-generate. Let me know if this helps!

@BornToBattle, how do you obtain the blur in some of your screenshots?
