Well jaygee485 that was exactly what the problem was! I had nonchalantly ticked the 'cruise control' box several days ago wondering if it had some effect in Tank Crew. Thanks very much, jaygee485, for responding to my post! Your post from March 31 describes my problem exactly. I may not have ever found the solution on my own lol.

I'd appreciate any advice on a problem that I've been having with my TM Warthog throttle. This is a recent problem and this throttle has always worked fine before. In game when I adjust the throttle it will register 100% or 0% but will not maintain any setting in between these two values. It'll jump around and is generally uncontrollable. I've recalibrated the throttle many times through in-game settings and in Windows and it does bind to the controler and works fine. However as soon as I use it to fly it won't work right and appears 'frozen up' when I check its response in Key Mapping. This

Flight-Sim Expo 2018 Update and Special Thanks!

Thanks for posting the pictures, looks great. I like the raceway that the chairs sit in. What's the purpose of the removable red insert that limits the backward travel of the chairs? Does it help when using Rudder Pedals? -
Are we allowed to sell hardware in here?

I asked about a putting up a post regarding the sale of 2 Asus GTX 980s, cheap. It was suggested I try Sim HQ as they do have a dedicated "Buy, Sell, Trade" sub forum. I did so and I was able to get rid of them quickly. -
Thanks for sharing these pics they're really great.

Does anybody use a thottle quadran?
oneeyeddog replied to indiaciki's topic in Hardware, Software and Controllers
Like LuseKofte and Sokol1 I also recommend the devices made by GVL224. From hands on experience I can say there is really no comparison with a GVL224 device and a Saitek throttle and they're not that much more expensive. heres a link to more information regarding GVL224 http://simhq.com/for..._(a#Post4146346 -
I use this throttle made by GVL224. This throttle is built from quality components and you can have it built to just about any configuration you want. GVL224 was a good Guy to deal with and the price was very reasonable. heres a link to more information regarding GVL224 http://simhq.com/for..._(a#Post4146346

Alternative to TIR Proclip
oneeyeddog replied to oneeyeddog's topic in Hardware, Software and Controllers
I'll let you know Dutch. i'm on my second ProClip as it is despite trying to be careful with it. The wire hasn't been a concern for me as I've sistered it to the wire on my headphones. Still, its a hassle to be tethered in such a way and the headphone/ProClip cable frequently snags on something. -

I've placed an order for the wired UTC. They're actually less expensive, including shipping, than the replacement ProClip alone. Bartek, the guy from UTC who makes these, has been pleasant to deal with, returning my emails very promptly. I'll let you know my impressions when I get them. -

My headphones are wired so Im going to give the wired UTC version a try. My Proclip wants to keep coming apart where the 'antler' meets the articulated arm.
