  1. good news, i didn't realise this was possible. thanks! i found some more info about the width adjustment plates here: https://mfg.simundza.com/blog/volair-sim-obutto-r3volution-compatibility-with-wap-addon-from-mfg/
  2. this one from Obutto looks like quite a good setup with a carseat style, but unfortunately it is quite narrow around the rudder pedal area, meaning it is MFG crosswinds will not fit. https://www.obutto.eu/en/r3volution/18-obutto-r3volution-5600228673144.html
  3. I am definitely getting better performance now, yes. rarely dropping below 60fps these days, and can put quality on high in single player.
  4. I could run a benchmark again. However I can't load the track anymore, there is an error which I assume is due to version. Is there an update available for latest version (3.102)?
  5. was on holiday and just managed to fly the Schwalbe... 🤤 I have no words, it is simply sublime... Thanks devs!!
  6. true I guess most of the C models were not on the frontline by 1945. Still I think the style has a certain appeal. and it was my favourite in SWOTL
  7. Now we just need an option for the Razorback P47
  8. I've got a nice strong Australian accent if you are after some Commonwealth voices! Also have a condenser mic setup, and military comms experience from my time in the RAAF.
  9. Thanks @chiliwili69 for the new track! I tried it out on my all AMD system with Samsung Odyssey. Settings were as prescribed, with SS 1.28 in Steam VR. My PC: AMD Ryzen 2 2600X @ 4.2GHz (single core boost) 16GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM AMD Vega 56 with balanced settings Samsung Odyssey PASSMARK CPU Mark 14072 PASSMARK CPU Single Thread 2161 Did three runs with similar results each run. I think the FPS is capping at 45 thanks to WMR. However mins were lmited to 33/34. Frames: 5054 - Time: 120000ms - Avg: 42.117 - Min: 33 - Max: 46 Frames: 5114 - Time: 120000ms - Avg: 42.617 - Min: 34 - Max: 46 Frames: 5107 - Time: 120000ms - Avg: 42.558 - Min: 34 - Max: 46 FRAPSLOG.zip
  10. don't worry, you're talking to an aerospace engineer my comment was meant as a quip
  11. oh my favourite... can't wait to put it into a dive and break the sound barrier!
  12. I have been using the Odyssey for a few months now and the Rift CV1 before that. I can recommend it for the bump in resolution clarity. also I find the Windows MR software to be far superior to Rift bloatware. However, Odyssey has for me more noticeable Fresnel effect and tracking is not as good (not really a problem in IL2 as we are not using the controllers) I wear glasses and have a big head (58) and I don't have any problems with the Odyssey. Overall I would recommend it, especially if you are in the states, or know someone who can get it for you there.
  13. the support for the Odyssey is fixed. This is hands down the best VR experience for me right now. Utterly brilliant. I dont have enough superlatives.
  14. i spent an hour or so in the Spitfire Mk9, doing some touch and goes, during a classic foggy dawn. I am not ashamed to say a tear came out. The experience was so brilliant, how I always dreamed this game could be in VR, I had tingles in my spine. It is THAT good. Unfortunately I am now on holidays for two weeks, so I have to wait until I get back!
  15. that map is alot bigger than expected! thanks
  16. Also noticed that. definitely no long pause when turning HUD on and off.
  17. thankyou, appreciate that you are trying to help! do you have a patreon or something similar, i would gladly contribute for your time and effort.
  18. ah yes, that it is the IPD setting from Lefuneste's app!
  19. that is good news. i hope since the samsung uses the same display that is easy for them to update in the next patch
  20. lefuneste, if you could try that would be amazing. even just trying is better than what we get from the devs...
