  1. Hi Andre, I've installed Simshaker Wings Beta 1.36, edited the required text in the startup.cfg file, and activated my license key. When I try to run from the program from the launcher manually, the 1.36 Wings program window immediately crashes. Auto-start doesn't seem to work either.
  2. I do concur with the above comments, which is not meant as a complaint at all. I'm happy with this next expansion of the Il-2 series. I just laid down the 80 bones ($US) for BON. I can't imagine how difficult it is to sell a project when risk must be mitigated in order to make a profit and BON is an appropriate compromise. Jason, please enjoy your Holiday, gather your thoughts, and then let us know what you're thinking. I'm on-board with this series for the long haul as it continues to offer a flightsim value, IMHO.
  3. Posted on 7.3.0 Flying Circus thread yesterday... I just flew a 7.3.0 COOP campaign mission and shot down three SE5A's. When I tried to claim my kills, I was only offered balloons to claim. I created the campaign as a COOP 'competitive' campaign, but I have yet to create COOP slots for the British side and associate with pilots, only flying as German for now. Not sure if that would contribute to such a problem. No error was reported.

  5. Just tested a 7.2.0 COOP .msnbin with .list file removed and all worked well.
  6. I will try and test the workaround for PWCG COOP missions with my squad mates tomorrow. Just to make sure that I have the guidance correct, in order to host a COOP mission using a .msbin (binary) file, we simply delete the .list file created within the \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\Multiplayer\Cooperative folder and then host the mission within IL-2 multiplayer, is that correct?
  7. Just spotted this thread. I'm experiencing the same "unable to save file to disk" problem with COOP missions with 4.0.1b. I had what I believe was the same problem last Thursday with version 4.00 and PWCG 7.1.0. Can't test a binary mission with .List file removed until this Thursday with my squad mates. Unless someone can arrange with me to test before then. Thanks for working this.
  8. Yesterday, when attempting to test a PWCG 7.1.0 generated COOP mission, my squaddies were not able to connect to my server. Is COOP now porked (again) after the IL-2 BoX 4.0 update? I was running 4.0 at the time.
  9. Typing STORE at the start button fixed the grayed-out panel for me as well. Glad there's an easy way out of that. I had been unplugging all my CH devices, restarting, and plugging them all back in again, which usually worked for me. A hassle to do though. Thanks for posting this solution.
  10. Just tried adding the updated config.ini to EMG ver 20, but it didn't fix the problem with COOP server not being able to choose a flyable slot.
  11. Same here. Used Easy Mission Generator ver. 19 and IL-2 COOP server prior to 3.201 update without problem. Tried EMG ver. 20 yesterday with squad mates and EMG created mission successfully, however no one could choose a slot in COOP server I deployed in multiplayer.
  12. Good suggestion. I was focusing on an early 1942 order of battle. But, the Ki-45 reportedly tangled with the AVG in June 1942, so it certainly could be included. Particularly if the type is documented adequately. Likewise, the Ki-44 had only a small presence in the early Burma order of battle is it only fought in Burma while going through field trials. But, I know it would be popular, so it has that going for it.
  13. If the Pacific is indeed in the future for this series, as previously mentioned, Burma would make a lot of sense. I understand that availability of data/info on Japanese types is a limiting factor. But, it would give the devs their first crack at a Japanese Army plane set. Aircraft types could look something like this: Japanese Ki-21 Sally IIb Heavy Bomber Ki-27 Nate Fighter Ki-30 Ann Light Bomber Ki-43 Oscar Fighter Ki-15 Babs Command/Recon K-44 Tojo (Collector) Fighter Allied Brewster Buffalo Mk I Fighter P-40B Kittyhawk Fighter Lysander Mk II Command/Recon Blenheim Mk IV Light Bomber Wellington Mk II Medium Bomber C-47 Dakota (Collector) Air Mobility/Logistics Other types that may be used with a Burma map include: Hurricane IIb, P-40E. This presumes the Hurricane will already be developed. If the Hurricane has not already been developed, substitute the Hurricane for the Lysander. For play balance, the Ki-15 recce could be replaced by Ki-48 Lily (light twin bomber). But, Air Marshall mode may benefit with recce aircraft types. Importance of air mobility would be an allied strategy to consider. If need be, Japanese Sally's were also used for limited transport role.
  14. IRT creating a wind simulator prototype, if airspeed were to be added as an additional motion output for the IL2 motion simulator API, what would be the next steps in developing a solution? Would there be a need for third party products, such as an IL2 BOX Simtools plug-in? Could an Arduino-type programmable controller (circuit board) do it? Both perhaps? I'm thinking of a desktop rig mounting several 120mm PWM case fans for use with VR. Flying Circus would even more immersive!
