I'll insta get the Hurribus, but likely not the Yak, I have a few samey looking planes already 😄

It is off course your to buy what you want and what you don't.

But please know that samey looking planes are often completely different to fly.

It's the air frames that look samey but the engine and weapon liveries that matter and make the difference.

    Have a nice day.

Does anyone know how to turn the compressor on high in p51 ??? I know it will switch automatically but I can't do it manually.

I asked the same question last week:

Like Zach said, it's useless to switch to high gear manually as it would only damage your engine.

I did some more research and some say the high gear is either for testing on the ground, others say it's for when you have a failure in the automatic system (you don't need that in BoX (yet)).

    Maybe both are right.

I hope this clears out things for you a bit.

  3. Yes it was, but there it was implemented years after the release by Team Daidalos.

So maybe one day they'll implement it here too. Maybe if ever we make it to the Pacific where navigation over water is virtually impossible without using insturments.

The instrument was used in conjunction with the radio if you remember from 1946. You received a signal and by that you knew where to point your course setter to and flew to that signal.

It was mostly used for homing, not so much for navigating to yer target.

For now, we can use landmarks mostly and you can select the Bendix instrument to navigate back to the closest base.

  4. Type of improvement: Graphics.

Explanation of proposals: Please add a NPC ground crew man who pulls at your propeller to start up the planes that had to be started that way and make him call "CONTACT" when doing so.

Benefits: Realism/immersion (Mostly for Flying Circus).

Holy Mother of Lockheed! That P-38 looks fantastic. That just HAS to be my ride, in here. It has to be. I hope I don't suck in it as badly as I do the P-47.

But I'm surprised at the fact that the Lightning is almost done. I thought it would be our last airplane, but it sounds as though the Mustang has a way to go. With all the information available on the P-51D, I had expected it to be one of the first and it looks as though it may be the last.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting my ass kicked in P-38!

Don't forget what Han told us in DD 2019:

"It should be noted that while many Mustangs still exist around the world, including airworthy ones, most of them are combinations of different modifications, including post-WWII ones. Therefore we're spending a lot of time researching tech schematics, spare parts catalogs, and similar documents to make sure the final result will be as authentic as possible."

Personally, I deeply respect and appreciate this.

  6. Type of improvement: Controls.

Explanation of proposals: Please add separate controls for the different formation lights (upper/lower) or (Green/Red/Yellow), etc... Instead of having to control them by the same key for all .

    Benefits: Realism/Ease of use.
