  1. Explain me why the Bk3.7 was available in Il2 1946 then... It's not only litterature, there is a lot of pictures showing that loadout The Bk3.7 led ultimately to the Bk7.5 as it turned unefficient against new soviet tanks so you can't say they didn't use Bk3.7 imho By needed, how many shells do you mean There is theory and reality...
  2. I think you speak about the Bk3.7 on the 110G2 and not on the Henschel... I never heard Bk3.7 made the Hs129 being dangerous but i heard it speaking about the Zerstorer. All the litterature online says Mk101 and 303 were fine for light tanks but were unable to destroy medium and heavy tanks...
  3. Hi Han, I'm bit surprised to don't see BK 3.7 for Hs-129 as it was a very common loadout. Without this weapon, the Henschel will be useless against T-34 and heavy tanks such as KV-1. It is sad to modelise such an iconic plane without giving him ability to destroy all the tanks...
  4. Crazy gunnery accuracy ! 100% in Air to Ground with Stuka (8 tanks destroyed with 12 pair of 37mm AP shells.) 5 victories only but 53% in Air to Air !!!
  5. Most of them are not double kills. Watched two third and only the first one was a double kill It must be done in the same pass/attack...

  7. I noticed in the chat bar that there is really a lot of pilots asking for best settings with german bomber engines... I also see a lot of guys taking off and burning their engine(s) within 90 seconds... Reading manuals is not enough here as it provide only "safe" settings which doesn't allow to be the fastest possible which is essential to defend yourself in those weak planes. I am primarily a fighter pilot but sometimes i can fly bombers but never without my fighter spirit of being the fastest possible at any time... I use those settings for taking off and then to climb or not depending plane and situation. Most of the time, i use Ju-88 but it also works with Ju-87 and Heinkel 111 !!! One setting for 3 planes, easy to remember^^ -------------------- Here they are : Gas Throttle 92 RPM 88 = 1.32 ata -------------------- You can maintain those settings for : - 30mn on Ju-88 !!! (Excedeed time after 25mn but works any 5mn however) - 20mn on Ju-87 and He-111 (Excedeed time around 16-17 mn) As you can notice, the Ju-88 allows to use this setting quite a lot of time With those settings, this plane is really the Wunderbomber With 4x250 kg and 28 SC50, it is as fast as the 110E2 (combat mode with 2x500 kg) at low altitude. Hard to believe but true. Therefore with internal loadout only (28 SC50), it's almost as fast as a Pe-2 !!! If those settings displays Take-off mode, use keyboard keys for better accuracy to display Climb mode. Several attempts may be needed but it works. Enjoy !

  9. After complete successfull installation, i got a message under windows when lauching saying that my program is 32 bits while my windows version is 64 bits... Impossible to launch even the launcher. Any idea what to do ?
  10. Of course but they are not part of Midway battle. Junyo/Hiyo were in the Aleutians too far away. Zuiho was with the invasion fleet not so far behind the carrier task force
  11. I added the Zuiho carrier with the 4 main carriers for the 2 following reasons : 1- It allows to make Invasion force for almost nothing as there should be Destroyer and Oiler/Cargo whatever. Very useful for the campaign. 2- It is a very different carrier compared to the main ones (flat top carrier and shorter) providing a lot of fun itself. ZUIHO in 1944 with the COOLEST carrier skin EVER !!! (Different however at Midway)

  13. Very far away from all previous analysis explaining why the german side doesn't succeed playing objectives on WoL... Since one week, Luftwaffe is struggle like never for a very long time for map winning on WoL. As of now, it is 32 - 26 for VVS The reason ? What happens ? No, the Luftwaffe is not more organised or more motivated, that's BS ! No, we just got a more or less correct Fw-190 and it changes a lot of things on maps on which this plane is available... This current phenomena will be confirmed with the Bf-110G2 when it will be available without gun jamming. 1943 maps is gonna be tough soon for VVS with this plane and 190A5. History says it should be easier in 1941 but all VVS ground attack planes available for this period are Il-2/Pe-2 unlike IRL LW fighters of 1941 (without gunpods and 190) are not yet suited to shoot them down quickly like late 42 and 43 scenario. Special message for Drinkins : Do the same thing as you do with Pe-2 in a Bf-110 There is no challenge to play forever on the easiest side for ground attacking...
  14. Guys, this post is about opposing fleets and not opposing aircrafts... Considering the map will be quite easy to do, ships will take more time to be done and their selection is as important as the aircraft ones.
  15. Don't know if someone spotted this and can't read all the previous msg but 110G2 guns can get jammed alltogether when one is hit... I played twice offline mission with QMB againt 8 Pe-2 "Ace". They hitted me and jammed all my guns
  16. orange, c'est pour les pigeons et ca n'est censé être mieux que sur le SAV. Je connaissais un gars de chez orange qui m'avait avoué qu'il passait son temps à mentir pour vendre une offre moins bonne et plus cher que free. M'enfin, c'est pas la meilleure idée que tu as eu car pour fermer un machin, ils sont toujours très prompts et ils ne travaillent certainement pas avec des post-it pour une opération dans 3 semaines...

Then there must be one ship of each type excluding aircraft carriers because it would be really boring to take off from the same carrier each time especially for japanese side which won't have any island... Attacking the same type of carrier every time is also very boring Suggested type of ships to make : AKAGI-KAGA-HIRYU-SORYU-ZUIHO carriers 1 Battleship 1 Cruiser 1 Destroyer 1 Sub 1 Cargo = 10 IJN ships YORKTOWN-HORNET-ENTERPRISE carriers 1 Heavy Cruiser 1 Destroyer 1 Sub 1 Torpedo Boat 1 PT Boat = 8 USN ships

From all those ships, the most important is to have all the different Carriers of the main battle whatever the number of ships modelled In the first Il-2, we had only Akagi for many years for all 1942 carrier battles and it was somewhat pity On American side, we had only Lexington class carriers despite it didn't took part in the battle Only mods bringed us Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu and Yorktown on US side Can we get an idea of the number of different ships expected to be modelled initially jason ?   19. Good if stall caracteristics are better however if speed is the same, it won't make big difference when having a russian fighter behind (excluding I-16) You must carry only 2 cannons only to have a reasonable chance to escape them... and that's pathetic
  20. je n'y connais pas grand chose en skin mais est-ce que cela veut dire qu'elles seront bcp plus détaillés ?? Quand je regarde le coeur vert sous la verrière depuis le cockpit de mon 190, on ne peut pas dire que ce soit très impressionnant, le coeur en question est tout pixellisé...

  23. Pour moi, c'est simple, le Yak-1B tiens plus du Yak-3 que du Yak-1 (le Yak-9 étant la même chose avec des options) et comme dit pips, on va voir arriver des as soviétiques avec le même ratio de victoires par heure que les meilleurs allemands...
