  1. Hi Yogi, the fighter AI increase advanced setting doesn't work for quiet a long time.
  2. I seem to notice that AI is ganging up on you on AIlevel = 1 (novice) more often, because all follow their flight leader. As the advanced setting is broken in PWCG until now (I think Patrick will fix it soon) you can go into the genrated .miz file in data/mission folder and change all AIlevel = 1 to AILevel = 2.

  4. I also noticed, that the Advanced Setting AI-Level isn't working anymore. It was the other way around for me: I mostly get AI-Level 1 with russian planes on the Stalingrad map. You can edit the Mission file in the data / Mission Folder with a simple text editor program like notepad until Pat can fix it in PWCG: In the Text Editor hit ctrl f for search and enter exactly AILevel (not "AI-Level" or "AI-LEVEL or AI Level...) You will find your flight first (your AILevel is 0) and when you search on downward, you will find the parameters for the enemy planes bf109. Here you can overwrite AILevel = 4 (ace) with lower Settings 1 to 3. Pat: can you eventually look into this and add/substract the entered number as you described it?
  5. Thanks for your answer. I knew that it is added to the Default, but if I set the modifier to 2 I would expect at least 3 for all fighters because Minimum is 1 (novice), but I see mostly AILevel = 1 in the Mission file in my current carreer. As we have 2 Parameters in the advanced config one for fighters and one for Bombers, is there a reason why Bombers and ground attack is set to 1? I personally would like to have both working as you described it
  6. The AI-Level-Setting (I tried for example 2 and +2 for fighter and bomber) doesn't seem to work any more. I have in my current carreer in general AI-Level = 1 for russian planes - which results in some strange manouvers. I edit the Mission file now manually (Change AILevel = 1 to AILevel = 2) and the fights are much more intesting. Pat: can you please have a look here? At least the first and third of a flight of 4 should have 2 (normal) otherwise we have often a Group of 4 planes hunting one plane and can easily be shot down, because they often don't evade.
  7. What I do now: edit the latest Mission (miz) file in the data/Mission Folder, search for "Plane" and delete the word "plane" and everything that is included in the next brackets. No need to delete more, and no Problem occured until now. The first squadron is the Player squad so don't delete these. All other I delete whole squads (you can see the aircraft type) that seem to be not necessary for an interesting mission, for example some friendly squads or the third enemy fighter squad. For a squad of 4 you of course have to delete 4 times 1 plane. For some slowmotion missions (with > 30 planes) deleting already 1 squad helped a lot
  8. I think the maximum numbers of flights don't work correctly, but maybe that's by intention. I have maximum number of enemy flights set to 2 and friendly flight also to 2 but when I look at the created missions I see more than 15 flights (with up 4 planes each) sometimes. Maybe you can't change that without reducing the propability to meet enemy planes, so I want to delete some flight manually in the mission editor. Is there an easy way to select a flight and just delete it? Can you please give me a hint, where I can select a flight and delete it (which menu-item)?
  9. I never had problems with strong sidewind landings so that I had to use rudder strongly and allign it on touch down. I'm flying career and pwcg offline where I often have 2-3 m/s wind. I know there is a Training Mission with heavy side wind and there for the only time I feel it and had to correct with rudder. Is this too easily modelled or in reality do I need more wind to feel an effect? What's your opinion?
  10. I still have too many flights in the air, also when i look at rhe briefing map with all flights on. I think you can repo roduce tha easily by making a new career and lower the limits, or not?

  12. I have set the limit to 1 friendly and 1 enemy units and there were at least 2 units each in the air. Is this parameter ignored?
  13. Not seeing a fast moving object in front of the ground is also cheating (by AI) ;-). For me it's not realistic. Would it be possible for you?
  14. Hi Lefuneste, great mod. I wonder if you can make the planes more visible (like in front of the clouds) when the fly low and Player looking down in front of the Land-Terrain like you did in front of the clouds. In VR they are often too hard to spot. Just an idea ;-)

  17. I can't continue this campaign. It just leads me back to the screen where I can chose a mission. Something has changed since the last update. Can you look into it.
  18. Mission not on ingame mission-list.rar Please look into these files, why I can't select them ingame. They are in the data missions directory. The other files of the other campaign (with the pilot name as campaign name) are listed and selectible.
  19. I have a problem that the generated missions of my new campaign (with a campaign name instead of pilots name) are not shown in the missions list ingame. For my older campaign I can generate and play new missions. I see the mission of the new campaign in the missions folder but can't select them in game.
  20. I put the option of "odds that a flight is escorted" to 100 and I had enough flight numbers generated in the advanced config but I only see lonely bomber planes in the intercept missions. or lonely fighters but no escort behaviour like in the stock carreer. Could you look into this problem?
  21. When I look at my missions I see a lot orange lines in your example I see none. What do the different colours mean? Can you also look into AI bomber escorts? IIrc you said there are no pure AI flights generated, with bombers and fighters as an escort. btw: the performance has improved a lot since your change to the ground attack units for AI flights. Thanks a lot. Ican finally fly CAP missions😁
  22. Thats great news. I noticed when playing the career Mode that the Performance was better there with more Planes.

  24. Does hard mean more enemies or better enemies?
  25. Are there any new mission types in the new version or is it still "only" attack/protect rivercrossing/troops or escort? New ones like patrol airspace.
