  1. How can I incorporate the newer BoBp aircraft in PWCG?
  2. Hi guys. I'm building a single player mission and I was wondering how exactly I can make it possible to land at an airfield mid-mission and reload your guns and top off your fuel tanks. I have tried to experiment with the airfield advanced properties R/R/R settings, and with vehicles as well, but have been unsuccessful. I looked all through the manual too and must have missed it if it's there. Please point me in the right direction.
  3. We've gotten a lot of responses so far. It's quite encouraging. Looking at the numbers for BoBP in relation to the ones for CloD and 1946 I find them particularly interesting. Almost as many players polled who have played the series since the beginning have pre-ordered the next, unreleased, installment. I think that says something good about the company.
  4. I've noticed that the bars under each member's avatar denoting which battles you've purchased don't appear correctly. I bought the BoS, BoK, and BoBP in the il2sturmovik.com online store, but only the bar for BoBP is showing. I didn't see options in the profile settings for this. Am I missing something?
  5. Well, it's not "my" poll, I didn't code it. All this thread is for is so we can see relative popularity across the various titles. I'm not interested in the statistics or math. The poll is just a nice visual aid, and a good conversation starter considering the replies it's gotten so far. Everyone in this community is interested in everyone else's journey through the IL2 series, and happy to share. It's beautiful. As for the results so far, I'm surprised to see that Bodenplatte is not as high as the previous titles in the Great Battles series. Do you think that means that more people are drawn to the early war aircraft over late war, or because it's still in developement? (I bought it in early release because I wanted to be able to jump into my favorite fighters as soon as they became available and luckily for me, my all time favorite was one of the first two released. In my opinion, totally worth the price.)
  6. I was wondering just how popular and widespread the IL2 series in general is. I have loved it ever since the original IL2, and bought every expansion, then a copy of 1946 for good measure! I kept it updated and regularly played it until Cliffs of Dover came out, and then I played it half as much 😉. Those two have been supplanted by the Great Battles series, and while I miss a few things from 1946 (especially the more comprehensive QMB), I have no doubt that in the end, the Great Battles series will be the world's finest WWII Combat Flight Simulator. So that's my IL2 journey and I figured that I would be able to get a good idea of how popular the games have been with a poll. Maybe it'll be of some use to the guys in charge too!
  7. I made this skin to use in my Kuban Spitfire Mk. Vb campaign. I've never tried to do a shiny aluminum plane before.
  8. Good looking out. I got the lettering used from a link a fellow member posted to download RAF and Luftwaffe font styles.
  9. I like it. Show us the version with the out-takes of you dumping entire magazines at one slippery little guy in a Spitfire. Jokes aside, I was wondering what program you use for video capture?
  10. Alright. The Spit is a semi-historical skin for a Spitfire Mk.VIII of the USAAF 308th FS, 31 FG in Italy, 1944. Some of the codes are correct, but it's largely a fictional skin. The Fw190 is totally made up. I just wanted a cool looking MTO Focke Wulf and the pattern matches the Bf110 skin I did already. Download: Nemesis over Italy 4k skin pack. Both of these skins are 4k based on the official templates by ICDP. All I did was customize them and make new detailed alphas. The 4k normalmaps by ICDP are also included. Installation instructions are in the readme. Disclaimer: the 190 has a swastika on the tail.
  11. My cannon fire sawed through his wing right before impact.
