    MODS OFF

Excellent news, some of my favorite planes are in there (Ju88 finally!). Now hurry up, add coop lobby and mission editor and take my money :D. Edit: I need to add my two cents concerning modding. One should never underestimate what modding communities can do for a game. What people already rightly pointed out, ww2 player numbers > ww1 player numbers. The amount of content a sim can receive with a combination of a smart development team and good modding groups is amazing. It binds people to the product and offers cooperation possibilities on many levels. The old Il2 series and also games like OFP/ARMA series are a great example what mods can do to garant the long term survival of a game. I definitely would reconsider not adding modding support. cheers, Dag
  2. +1 We need coops, I am still astonished that this has not been implemented. I have zero interest into dogfight servers. The eastern front with the smaller scaled encounters (compared to the western front) is perfect for small coop groups. The best missions with "historical" plane number ratios I have played were coop dynamic campaigns, it is easier to be shot down by the AI. In PvP there is too much ego (and I don't exclude myself here) - so the call for balance is normally louder. cheers, Dag
  3. Thanks for the continued work Devs. Please keep it up .

I take them all :D. I love flying this plane in il2 1946 and COD.
  5. Has been said already, the more customising options the better. Online: server settings should dictate what is allowed and what not Offline: customise the campaign as you want Gamer communities are diverse no problem to cater that fact as long as options stay OPTIONAL. On that note, please allow finally 3rd person view in the campaign. I love watching flybys of my plane during the mission.
  6. Definitely needed. In il2 1946 this was the major thing for me. A few friends, 1 beer (ok, i admit sometimes 2) and a small coop session with a lowengrin campaign hosted privatly, That was more than enough to keep us entertained. Moving front lines, campaign medals and so on. Cheers, Dag
  7. My hopes are definitely with the game. I love the airplanes and would really like to see this series kicking off again to its grand proportions of 100s of different flyable planes. Maybe start with adding more single planes to sell one by one to add more cash flow into the development and chip in the one or other map to sell. Then go for a next big theater.
  8. + 1 from me too And while we are at the campaign: Maybe proper squadrons attached to the different airfields. I'd love to know which unit I am flying with. And maybe add coop to the campaign, the random mission generation is nice for small coop groups of 2 - 4 cheers, Dag
  9. Same here during the campaign, I get a crash when returning from mission and close to airport 'Gumrak'. I could not complete my last 2 missions in the campaign. Mission was a fighter bomber mission on a convoy. Plane was the Fockewulf. 10. RoF did indeed a great job. I am still playing the career mode and love it. Love it, only downside is, it does not have coop. As for the current BoS campaign, I get into it and the progress is relatively fast on hardcore. I would hope they add a peer to peer coop for the campaign. I really do like the different missions and it would be great to play these with a few friends. Dag
  11. I would possibly possibly do generally a 2 plane client free to play. And then sell more planes and additional addons later. I found the way RoF handled it ok, even though it meant additional cost for customers. I could image this would add more money to the devs balance sheets as well as it exposes the game to more people.
