  1. First of all i asked the support: They gave me the following hint: Try the following: - delete the folder "[Game folder]\data\input" - delete file " [Game folder]\data\input\devices.txt" - delete the contents of the folder " [Game folder]\updates" - update the game If you start a game from Steam: - delete the folder "[Steam folder]\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input" - delete file "[Steam folder]\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad \data\input\devices.txt" - verify Integrity of Game Files - https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335&amp If you use a third-party software for joystick and pedals - temporarily turn it off do not forget to remove the folder with the game "Read only" attribute If the configure will work correctly, try to use a third-party software joystick and pedals. I followed the instructions for steam users exactly. Unfortunately, the USB controller Throttle + Stick Hotas Warthog, MFG Crosswind V2 are not recognized by IL2, even though they have been configured correctly under Windows and also works correctly in other simulations e.g. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 ALPHA or DCS(without steam). Oddly enough, no Joy 0-2 data is inserted even when the file devices.txt is newly created. There’s only the header “configId,guid, model|”. This is a sign for me, that in my case no usb-controller is recognized by il2. But I found the problem. I think it was caused by Steam after the Update. For whatever reason. I disconnected the controllers, the USB hub and reset the controller settings to Steam. Then I deleted the input folder "[Steam folder] \ steamapps \ common \ IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad \ data \ input" and checked the integrity of the game folder in Steam. Only then did I connect the USB controller directly to the computer (without a USB hub, after i closed steam). Steam restarted, Il2 started and ... lo and behold, it worked. Then reconnect the USB hub and everything runs fine. Maybe this helps someone who have the same problem.
  2. I tried it, but it didn't work for me....Without ideas What surprises me is that the function keys on the keyboard did not work for me after the update, but after 4.05c it was ok again...strange
  3. Not at all, isn't necessary for me beforehand. I contacted the support and hope for help. The only strange thing is that I ran the update by accident without a connected USB controller. That is my only idea I still have. I also checked wether the configuration files startup or input were read-only. But they weren't. Without ideas....
  4. First of all , thank you for your help. I tried it, but it doesn't work. I used different USB Ports, exchanged the files of my input folder with my security files. Throtttle, joystick and pedals are not recognized in IL2. Before the update, everything worked as usual, withou any problems. The controllers are recognized under joy.cpl in Windows. Here's my devices.txt: configId,guid, model| 0,%22c87f4e30-030b-11e8-0000545345440e80%22,Thrustmaster%20Virtual%20Game%20Controller%20(root)| 1,%22c85c2b40-030a-11e8-0000545345440a80%22,MFG%20Crosswind%20V2| 2,%22a2f842b0-030c-11e8-0000545345440180%22,Joystick%20-%20HOTAS%20Warthog| 3,%22ad1c6410-030c-11e8-0000545345440280%22,Throttle%20-%20HOTAS%20Warthog Any Ideas?
  5. Many thanks for the answer. Everything worked for me before the update. I did not use the T.A.R.G.E.T software before, as it was not necessary. Joystick is selected in the settings (IL2). When I select the map control, the joystick control does not respond at all, while everything works perfectly under windows or other programs (e.g. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Alpha, DCS). What could that be? Any Ideas?
  6. I'm glad that the function keys work again after the 4.05c update, but the information transfer from the USB controllers to IL2 does not work, even though they are correctly recognized under Windows. Even with the T.A.R.G.E.T software there is no success. Can anyone help me further? I'm a little desperate.
  7. Tried everything. Neither joystick nor rudder work for me. The function keys also have no effect. Is there any help?
  8. I have the problem that after the update the USB game controllers Throttle and Joystick-Hotas Warthog and MFG Crosswind V2 are not recognized by IL2, although they work perfectly in the game controller settings under Windows. Is there a solution for this?
  9. Thanks a lot for your fast and nice answer. I tried it but did not work. I think the best thing is the reinstallation and before to secure the important things like skins and input. Or is there another way to disable the mods? It is probably only one bit in the config.
  10. I have the problem that with each restart a tick with "mods activate" is set. So it is impossible for me to play with most multiplayer servers. Also, if I removed the tick and restart, the mods remain activated. How can I change this?
