  1. I'd love to see a historical skin / semi historical skin based on the RAF captured Me-262. I need to take that for a flight. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235037398-raf-me262-colours/
  2. I was thinking that as well - the bright yellow nose would be idea for both training visibility and for acting as an OPFOR aircraft for the mid-war period when the Germans made extensive use of yellow ID bands. It is interesting how colour alone is enough to trigger that first identification reaction.
  3. Interesting colours, do you know the history of this aircraft and why it was painted with a bright yellow nose? Almost makes me go "109 spotted" at just a very quick glance.
  4. That is completely fair - would be pretty interesting though
  5. Any chance of making this a little campaign?
  6. Minus the armour, weapon fit, and crew (2 vs 3) you get a similar aircraft in profile, and even in role in a way. And yes, use the LaGG-3 Dewotine 520 hack and lets make some missions! I can only hope for a BoX Battle of France someday
  7. Could I recommend a set of missions for the Mosquito when it comes out - also, does anyone know if PWCG can simulate night missions or careers. With the Ju-88C-6 and Mosquito that could be a reality
  8. The Dyle Plan, forward deploying to meet the Wehrmacht in a meeting engagement allowed the Allied line to get outflanked, in a one sentence explanation. I agree, plan E, holding the French frontier with a strong defensive line might well have stopped the Germans in their tracks, at least for some time. French armour is good overall and in a more static battle would have proved its worth. I find it odd that many believe that the fall of France in 1940 was a sure thing, because history tells us that it could have been anything but. This being said, once the Germans used their superior op
  9. Personally, I'd love to see the GBS tackle 1939, 1940, 1941 - if I had to chose a single theater it would be France 1940, followed by Africa in 1941. Keep in mind, this is both either TC or aviation, I much prefer the early war, though sadly it often gets pushed back for the late war. Catching up with this thread, all I can say is that in my opinion, balance in wargame or simulator is pointless. Model the equipment and logistics as it was, and then simply give options for setting up MP servers so that if they want a more balanced set up they can, but balance for balance sake is rat
  10. I'd buy TC2 on day 1. Hopefully in time it will also get an expansion, based either in Normandy or during the Battle of the Bulge. There is plenty of Commonwealth armour to model if they chose to make an Operation Overlord campaign centered around Caen.
