Plastic Modelers in the IL-2 Community
JimmySolarium_VR replied to voncrapenhauser's topic in Free Subject
After having silently admired everyone's skills and craftmansship and most important: spirit, motivation and patience in this thread, i gave myself a kick to do my first model after being a ten year old....i admit, challenge was tough but it was so much fun, all the memories of the childhood days, that came up during the build made me smile...1:72 is hard to see for me but a additional reading glass from the drugstore did it then. I am happy with my very first attempt of a Revell Spitfire Mk II. 🙂- 2158 replies

clarity? ...what clarity? With my g2 i have to move my head in order to see the point i want to behold sharp and clear. Moving just the eyeballs, the sharpness falls off to the edges really quick. So the sweet spot is kinda small. But the sharpening while moving the Head happens really fast, so i won`t complain. Coming from a CV1, I swallow this pill and praise the Quality of the image every day, but yes, i understand that it can be annoying.

Reverb G2 Keyboard issue
JimmySolarium_VR replied to Loki_1982b_rock1080's topic in Virtual Reality and VR Controllers
Don´t know if it is helpful, but i have a similar problem with my Corsair Keyboard and the icue software. I have to wait until it is loaded and changed that absurd wave RGB lighting to my color i set up and then plug in the Reverb G2. Then everything works fine. if i left the G2 connected, the i cue software doesnt load properly. -

Temperatures Ryzen 5xxx
JimmySolarium_VR replied to JimmySolarium_VR's topic in Hardware, Software and Controllers
I have the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut in use. Good to see, that up to 78° under load seems to be quite normal for the 5xxx CPUs. Maybe i review and re-apply the Thermal grease this weekend, i tend to use too much ...Still waiting for Nvidia to come out with a driver that allows the SAM usage with the RTX cards too...afaik it is not yet implemented. @all: Thanks for sharing your results with me! -

Ah, max load i consider for example a Gaming session in Il2 in multiplayer with lots of background stuff on like Discord and so. I could try to re run the syn vader test and monitor my temps there. -

Temperatures Ryzen 5xxx

I have a NZXT Source 340 and Asus Dual RTX 2070 Super. I have 2 120mm in the Front taking air in ←, one 120 mm pushing through the cooler <--, one 120mm rear exhausting <--. One add. 120mm exhausting to the top ↑ . So I guess, everything is setup correct? Thx for your Answer, so i guess my temps are in the "good-to-go" Area... -
Hello fellow Ryzen owners, I´d love to know, what temperatures you are achieving, as i am unsure to get a Aio Watercooling solution or stick to my Alpenföhn Brocken 3 Air Cooler. I achieve under max load up to 78° C, the Fans are kinda working then, not to be recognized while gaming (due to the headset) but clearly hearable. Do you think that this is a acceptable temperature? Curious what everyone elses Experience with cooling is. Greetings! Jimmy
