  1. Hi I'm sorry if I misunderstand, but there are no PDF files included. The instructions will show up as a mission description before starting the flight. Serdalf maintains the French translations (merci!), and I will update his translations this weekend.
  2. I have almost the exact same use case as @Retnek, right down to the "Utopioneer II" to replace dead-is-dead and captured-is-lost pilots (I think I'm up to VI now though...)
  3. FWIW, I've also found the reference pilot setting to be cumbersome, and this is a use case I come across regularly. The PWCG software and Dserver run on my computer, if I can't fly but my squadron mates can, it wouldn't take me very long to generate a mission and fire it up for them. I don't know what the code looks like behind the scenes, but it is possible to have a reference squadron? Then store combat report information in a squadron folder rather than a pilot folder?
  4. I will definitely get to the rest of FC. I placed them lower in the priorities because when I had download stats they were by far the least downloaded 🙁 Are there specific FC aircraft that J5 would find most useful? I can start there.
  5. Bf 110 E-2 Added Bf 110 G-2 Added Dogfight removed for these, armored ground target practice added.
  6. If you go to PWCGBoS\BoSData\Input\Squadron Squadron skin information is stored those .json files. Some squadrons have no skins assigned, probably because an appropriate skin is not available. If that's the case, the default skin is applied, which for some planes is a Soviet skin. If you have appropriate skins installed you may be able to edit these files to apply the correct U.S. markings. To do so, use the same format as a squadron where skins are already assigned, for example from the 126th Fighter Air Regiment: "skins": [ { "skinName": "P40E1_SKIN_01", "planeType": "p40e1", "startDate": "19410801", "endDate": "19420331", "squadId": 10111126, "country": "Russia", "category": "Squadron", "definedInGame": false } ],
  7. Thank you I'm glad these have been helpful. I haven't had much time lately to expand, but ideally I would like to hit the types of missions that a player would encounter in the single player career mode. I will probably make a bomber template after ground attack, but it may take me a little longer to create. I don't have a patreon/paypal and I'm not sure that would be ok under the terms of the game. For now I'm happy to create something useful to give back to the community.
  8. Thanks for pointing that out guys, the files are updated and fixed. The Fokker D. VII and Bf 109 G-6 had that mistake in them. @BiggusDickusRedownload reinstall if you haven't played through a plane yet. If you have, the only major change here would be engine limit specs (which can be found on the spec page in most cases anyway) and the plane specific trim key bindings. @RedglyphThe campaign description is not meant to be plane specific at this point, but rather an overview of flight and airplane systems in general. Maybe a better idea to create a different description for Flying Circus, as it's a different era of flight and plane types. I may update.
  9. Updated all existing campaigns New campaign description covering the basics of flight sims. Covers key concepts needed to understand how to fly these planes. Added missing mission images (mostly formation missions) and updated basic flight mission images to pictures of the cockpit In the future the cockpit images may have gauge callouts Updated and reformatted engine specs in mission descriptions Added trim keybindings for each plane Various reformatting for easier readability
  10. Added: Fw 190 D-9 Yak-1b Series 127 Me 262 A With this update, all WW2 light fighter aircraft are covered. Before moving on to heavy fighters (most likely 110 next) and dedicated ground attack planes, I want to take a pass on all the planes I've done to add to and tweak mission descriptions.
  11. In that case, the P-40 will be next! I'm wrapping up the 109 G-6 and K-4 files and will post tonight, but then I'll get on the P-40. When I had download stats the Flying Circus planes were not downloaded nearly as much as the rest, so I placed them lower on my priority. I'll get to them eventually though.
  12. I'm not sure what's happening here, the first mission should start you in the air, the taxi mission isn't until the 7th mission, and that doesn't include any takeoff or landing. Can you tell me which plane you saw this in so I can check? I don't think the scripted campaign section supports sub folders, but I did set a high sort order to my campaigns with the intention they show up on the bottom. If you have a lot downloaded, you may prefer installing them to data\missions. In that folder, they will show as small expandable folders of missions, and they can be played in any order.
  13. I'm working on an April 1943 scenario for the night witches. From the grass field airstrip in the map to the targets is 15-30 minutes round trip. Planning on releasing as a cooperative dogfight map with re-arm re-fuel, and MAYBE releasing a scripted campaign.
  14. Love the concept will probably try it out tonight. Took a look at your mission and I think you forgot to trigger the attack area command for the 262s. The trigger waypoint (20747) before the attack area command should trigger the attack area command (20788). On those command MCUs you object link to WHO should be commanded, and you target link to them to determine WHEN they should be activated.
  15. Working on the Macchi 202 next, but I'll do a spit/tempest after that.
  16. I just updated all links to use google drive storage, it looks like mediafire has malicious pop-ups sometimes and that's not cool.
  17. @=gRiJ=Roman- @Serdalf You guys are both doing an awesome job, neither of you are slow. This effort is only 2 weeks old and look at how much progress we've had!
  18. U-2VS Added Missions are different for this one: Basic Flight Takeoff Landing Ground Attack Night Bombing Taxi Formations
