  1. Join a squad. You will learn so much and plus you will have wingmen as they did in the real world. Don’t be afraid to ask questions even if they seem stupid. There are no dumb questions in this arena. This sim along with a few others require time and experience to become proficient. Practice, practice, and practice. This is kind of like shooting. You have to continue to train or you’ll lose it. I can’t emphasize the squad thing. I did that back in 2004 when IL-2 first came out and it was a great experience. I made a ton of really amazing friends. That also made it a blast. Man I made some good friends. I never expected that.
  2. Since my knowledge of the Desert War is lacking I found a few videos very helpful in explaining the background of the Desert campaign. This one was animated fairly well if you dig that. Anyway, I rarely post this stuff but I thought this would be helpful to some. My other point that I forgot to mention. If you guys run across any good historical videos on this campaign please post them. I’d love to watch them. Thanks
  3. This is one of the best threads I’ve ever read in an IL-2 forum. Very good read! Thanks
  4. I did. They already supported COD since the beginning. I advised Great Battles and COD were different. I explained it in detail.
  5. I think the Next Level Racing V3 supports Great Battles now. Is that correct?? I contacted Next Level Racing and this was they said: “Thank you for contacting us. The Motion Platform V3 is compatible with the below versions of IL-2. I believe all of these games are part of the Great Battles series, is this correct? IL-2 Cliffs of Dover IL-2 Battle of Bodenplatte IL-2 Battle of Kuban IL-2 Battle of Moscow IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz If you have any further queries we are happy to assist you. Kind Regards,”
