  1. Hi Rowdy, some questions : What is the purpose of the file: "type17_front.bmp" in the "cloud_maps" folder ? I did not find it in the "sky.ini" files. Is it dedicated to future developments or new options ? Also, what is the purpose of files named sky1.ini ? Are they used by the game as alternate versions ? Currently, I discover all the new features of the V15 with happiness and constructive curiosity. My first impressions are very positive. I congratulate you on your great visual contribution to the game ! πŸ˜ƒ
  2. Very good first impression ! Thank you so much ! I will continue my discoveries, and I will not fail to give you pictorial news of your very pretty skies ! Here through the Cumulonimbus ! πŸ˜€
  3. Thank you very much, be sure, your answer is exactly what I asked about your grey skies ! Finally, take note, that I am very grateful to you for your magnificent and very artistic work on a world that so many people ignore and discover thanks to you ! πŸ˜€
  4. The outlines of the clouds seem much more vaporous than in the current version. The rendering is very successful ! Well done ! πŸ˜€ Another note: Do you plan to use your "grey skies" in the next version ? If so, would it be possible to offer them as an option rather than integrating them directly into the mod ?
  5. Of course we're all impatient, but let's let Rowdy work ! His task is difficult, but there is no doubt that he will win ! πŸ˜„
  6. Admittedly, they may lack a little density with regard to the time and the light, but this is not really shocking. Anyway , the general rendering is very nice on your images. I really like your skies ! However, if you will allow me a remark: I do not like the flare effects of the sun at all ... They are present through an optical system, of course, but not in reality. For my personal use I have removed these effects, and it feels more natural to me. Some examples here : πŸ˜‰
  7. I'am on the V14. I just did some quick tests. I did not notice this bug in version 14 on some rainy or simply overcast skies (without having tested everything, however.) On the other hand, by activating "3D overcast" I encountered this bug under a rainy sky. Under overcast skies without rain, apparently this bug is not present ... Additional information to this bug: Time = 17:30:0; Date = 10.7.1944; HMap = "graphics\LANDSCAPE_Rheinland_su\height.hini"; Textures = "graphics\LANDSCAPE_Rheinland_su\textures.tini"; Forests = "graphics\LANDSCAPE_Rheinland_su\trees\
  8. So could you create a "Manish Boy" mod to listen to on the airplane radio ? πŸ€—
  9. Has anyone ever encountered this phenomenon of shadows lighter than ambient lighting under rainy skies ? This is quite strange ... Do you have an explanation or a solution to this problem ? Rowdyb00t mod rendering : Stock game rendering : This is only a detail and it does not detract from the overall quality of the work, which is very satisfactory, but however I think that this small flaw deserves to be highlighted ... πŸ˜‰
  10. What exactly do you mean by this ? The light atmosphere is too colorful on the ground, in the cockpit, and that doesn't seem natural to you ? Do you have any pictures ? Note that I really like the rendering of the second image ! It would be unfortunate to throw this in the trash ! πŸ˜‰ And this is really grandiose ! above all, please continue on this path ! πŸ˜ƒ
  11. My God, my God, could you both calm down ! I am very sorry to see these fruitless fights of ideas. Could we dream serenely, and take advantage of the beneficial investigations of RowdybOOt who does research to offer us his achievements taking into account our remarks ? I have absolutely nothing against you and your technical remarks which are certainly very relevant, dear LizLemon, but could you offer us an alternative to this mod ? And above all, note that I say this in total respect and friendship for each other ... πŸ˜€
  12. Very nice result ! in addition, cirrus clouds are now colored at sunset or sunrise ! πŸ˜€
  13. Dear RowdybOOt, When I fly under cumulonimbus like these, the graphics are quite disappointing when I look up towards the base of the clouds. As you can see in the following images, we can see areas of different tones and densities follow each other without a smooth transition. Technical informations : CloudConfig = "summer\03_Heavy_04\sky.ini"; Time = 8:8:0; Date = 15.10.1941; GuiMap = "moscow-autumn"; CloudLevel = 600; CloudHeight = 1100; So please, if possible, could you take that little graphical annoyance into account in your develo
  14. For more information, the picture refers to : "summer\03_Heavy_09\sky.ini"; πŸ™‚
  15. I confirm, and sometimes also in broad daylight with heavy clouds, but fortunately in very rare cases ! πŸ˜‰
